VGBards is hosting a feedback session for all medium class armor wearers.  I have posted screenshots of all six sets of medium class armor sets (Bard, Disciple, Monk, Ranger, Rogue, Shaman) and will be collecting feedback on each set. All feedback gathered will be forwarded / read by the APW Developers in order to help facilitate their class set itemization.  Please continue reading and then click the link below to view the screenshots and offer your opinions. 


There are a few notes regarding armor sets:

1.  They are only Beta versions of the armor set and are based off of initial player feedback.  They are not the final version nor are they reflective of the final version.  The provided feedback threads will help to better tune them to each specific class.

2.  It was decided today (Nov 5) that all class armor sets would be made class specific.  Therefore, you will not be able to mix and match from other class sets (ie..discple's can't wear the monk set).  They will be specifically designed for the class that they are intended for.  Keep that in mind when you see multiple classes listed as being able to wear the items. 

3.  The armor sets are NOT designed to be the end all, be all gear for APW.  Boss mobs will be itemized to drop 1 pattern for the quested armor per kill.  The harder the boss, the better the pattern type.  Think of these more as filler armor until you get the really rare item you want.  As such, they will be very general in adapting to a class...ie, they will reflect the over all rounded stats of a class as opposed to focusing on one aspect of a class.

The table was so terrible, in fact, that I simply couldn't selectively copy and paste into another program to resolve it. I might have a look at this tomorrow if I'm really motivated. I've already registered and posted what I'm posting here now.

My only issue with the monk set was the lack of HP thru con or direct hp on it.
With my current setup on raid test(98 pct i have on live ) i lost about 600 hp.
For the effort it takes for this gear it drasticaly improves all aspects of areas except the hp,
while to some of you this might seem minimal i would say that during pulls even at 10kish hp i was being 1-2shot on many pulls ..espec the caster mobs who tend to not come at you instead they range you.
HP will be very much needed inside of APW
Other then that small issue the monk gear was well though out

Your feedback guides the class right now so keep the feed back coming along. I snagged a suit of this stuff and so far I am impressed.

I'd like to see as effects,

• + jin Regen
• max Jin bonus
• Soaring Leap like ability (I'd love to ditch my xenn boots but they have WAY too much utility right now even at 50.
• Stat buff Str, Dex, Int
• rune effect
• enlarge our storm stride range
• Spell Mitigation / immuninty to movement impiarements (root / stun)

I'll prolly add this to the bard stie a little later on today.

They have not yet decided/disclosed what the various effects will be. They will however increase as you wear more of the pieces. All subject to change obviously.

Not trying to discredit your wishlist, but we all need to remeber this is the very firt raid zone in what will hopefully be a very long lasting MMO, That being said the Dev's seem to be very wisely not just piling on stats to the gear. If they do that what will be left to give us later?

I personaly have not a single complain with the gear. It is very well thought out IMO. The best thing about it is that there is lots of room for improvements such as listed above.

Alot of the suggested changes would be aweome to have but would also create the kind of gear you would never want to replace; which is a bad thing in the MMO world. As most of us know once you get that since of completion players tend to move on.

Being the very first raid loot to be introduced I think they did an excelent job with it. no doubt it is superior to what we have while at the same time not over-done.

Also remeber as far as loosing HP or orther stats you might like, you currently can wear the other medium classes armor if you so choose.

Just a quick correction. It is stated on VG bards that as of yesterday you will not be able to wear other classes Armor anymore as I had originaly posted.
