small update, aspect of the spirit dragon was lowered from 12 end/sec to 10, nifty now lasts about 28 sec with no end regen and 45 with +10.

Update on the supposed bug to aum liat
I talked to avair tonight and he says it is intended to drop when we get hit as the runspeed is ment for travel only.
So in short "working as intended"
Personally i think the way they have it set is dumb because the only reason to use this buff is for the runspeed..when the runspeed leaves the rest of the buff stays including the +25% end costs and +5% dodge..makes the rest of buff pointless.If they wish to have the runspeed drop on hit then may aswell drop the whole buff because aside from the runspeed protion  its not worth keeping.Just my 2 cents on it

personally i agree, remove the "aum tag" and just make it a 1 hour buff that goes away entirely if hit.

Then give us a useful aum at 30 like + % dmg/crit like rangers/rogues get

What, yet another bug going from bug status to working as intended? First INT and VIT, then this? I'm not sure they really know where they want this class to go.

Anyway... if it's "meant for travel only" then why is it an Aum? It needs to become a regular buff. Furthermore, Speed of the Wolf/Wind should also drop on combat, then... it's not like we have more utility or DPS than shamen/rangers, respectively, as it is.

Let me clarify my revious post. I was on test messing around with Aum Liat and was able to confirm the original claim that Liat was dropping. I sent an email off to Talisker have it looked at.  Since Kvick's conversation with Avair said it was working as intended, I cannot confrim / deny it as Avair doesn't really work on our class much so I will need to follow up with Talisker to the get the reasoning on this.

It may or may not be changed, but at the very least I'll get some info as to the reason.

Thanks for looking into this quinn. I went to avair because i asked other leads who handles class type bugs and they said it was him.I really hope he just doesnt know what he is talking about on this subject, That said  he answered pretty strongly

O.K. I got the info on what was up.

Talisker made a change to Aum Liat to fix an exploit by making the buff effects  (Aum Liat provides 2 effects when applied) dependant on each other So if 1 is removed they both go. There currently is a bug that dropped the negative portion of Liat if you entered combat.

By Talisker fixing this you would now lose everything as they are now dependant on each other.

Talisker is in the process of fixing Liat to as I type this.

I think the whole thing with Avair is just a miscommunication

So there is supposed to be 2 buffs like the old system? Because on test and live it was changed to just 1 buff icon.

I guess I didnt word that right

Liat used to be 2 icons. 2 Effects and was explotable.  New and improved Liat 2.0,  1 buff icon, 2 effects. The effects are  interdependant on each other. The negative stuff drops, so does the run speed which is the result of a bug.

Sorry for the confusion.

Few more things:

Sundering dragon claw got its dmg upped (yey thanks)
Fist of celerity doesn't cancel secret of flame anymore,


1) Aum of the drunken master/roaring dragon still make finishers disappear
2) Still have the annoying (but useless) second stance icon of whatever stance we log on with
3) Dragon breath still needs to be updated
4) Sun dragons corona still needs a revamp (any idea what its gonna be qtm?)
5) aum liat is still buged (as mentioned above and already addressed)

1.) UI thing in coding
2.) see 1
3.) I'll look into it
4.) No time line on this. There are just too many differing opinions so it most likely going to get a tweak but stay as is. (Its not the anwer you want but, I am not going to lie about it either. Something will eventually need to be done with this though.)
5.) Fixed in dev not pushed to test yet.

I'll try and get a conversation with Talisker with 4 to at least make it more efficient.

Super simple easily implimented temporary fix.

Change it to Dragon's corona and nix the DS.

Add plus 150 to ice reists as well as fire.

Make it a 1 hour buff that costs jin to apply.

Simple and clean as well as usefull in APW.

I could live with just resists on Dragon's Corona.

i could live with just resists for now, but in all honestly dragon monks still need a "bone" for the fact they sit at less mitigation then pure casters for 99% of the game.
