hrm, am i the only one? i don't dig the new changes to aspect of the spirit dragon at all, 25-30 second of invis/levi draining all of my endurance (no fd if your completely out remember) vs. 10ish albiet sketchy mins of invis/levi for 8 jin, i'd rather run around for 5 mins knowing my invis or levi is stable than have it run out after running a few feet.

Under the current system invis typically lasted less then 5 min of the 10, and to top it off you had to meditate to get the jin you needed to do a second invis, which in dangerous places isnt an option, so you basiclly had one invis then your out in the middle of dungeons.
Now we have a solid 25-30 sec of invis, and as long as you cut it 1 second early, you have the endurance to FD, spend the 12-15 sec waiting for full end then pop up and invis again, Its more stuttering on the way, but at 46 it can get you through those lvl 45+ dungeons a bit more reliably.
In a perfect world it would be a level 30 skill that lasts for 1 minute, but since its a 46 skil that lasts 30 seconds, well have to deal with what where given since in my eyes this invis is largely more useful, especially when doing corpse runs.

I like the change personaly.
I can actually see myself using it from time to time now. Even when the invis would have benifited me in the past I would not bother cause it was just too much downtime for me to sit and meditate up for a minute or so just to invis myself.

I got a chance to talk to Talisker and got confirmation that the END costs for cresent kick have been lowered back to 12 it's not pushed to test yet. You may now put away the torches and pitchforks.

Few updates.
1) Crescent kick WAS 10 endurance, not 12, and its back to 10 on the test.
2) Divine tsunami was upped (as you said qtm) to 350% (weapon dmg + 350) ---conclusion = good, it averages 3k dmg, with the first 2 ae's averaging 2.2k
3) Kick to the heavens now has + melee dmg on it same as celestial kick of the master and flying kick
4)
Remaining changes (to hit test, i know youve said they are comming just keeping people updated)
Dragon breath dmg increased
New version of sun dragons corona (any word what its gonna be yet?)
Sundering Dragons claw dmg increase
Suggestions for dragons
Dragon sweeps its tail - after a dodge - 300 ae dmg and stun for 3 sec, 1 min reuse. ===> Any chance we can get this reuse lowered to 10 seconds? When aeing 4+ mobs a 3 sec AE stun isnt that useful on a 1 min timer.
On a side note, going str>dex> int (no con) on test gives about 150 int at 50, which makes secret of flame do 450 to 550 a hit and 500 over 4 sec. It leads to having 4200 hp with 0 extra points in con. 6 con ~ 20 hp and 1 resist, so you miss out on about 270 hp and 13 to resist. overal a sacrifice im willing to make.
Also wave hands in the clouds 3 is doing about 600-700 dmg a hit, dont remember what it was on live.

most my gear is str dex vit, and only a few pieces are dex con str.
the 80 points i had in con put me at 4607 hp unbuffed. All of my gear is + crit/acc/dps/etc
Looking at our 2 toons.
You - live server (1926 ac - 831 melee dmg)
Str/con/dex - HP
386/422/405 - 6561
Me - live server (1874 ac - 1098 mele dmg)
str/con/dex - HP
532/305/404 - 4607
So yeah you have a good 130 more con then me, which should be about 600-700 hp. And you have some lucent gear which adds mucho hp.
The 2 earings alone add 140 hp
The mask adds 50 hp
Your necklace adds 123 more hp
Your gloves add a good 100+ hp on mine
your cloaks is 70 more hp.
your 2 rings add 200 more hp
I could go on and on, but your gear is clearly focued on a high hp monk, mine is focused on a high dps monk. To each his own :-p

Back to the spirit dragon topic; I don't find jin ever hard to come by just pop off a few AE facing no mobs, free jin, or walk up and beat a random trash mob for jin and fd it off when you have enough. maybe 8 jin is a bit much, but instead of changing it to a 30 second clip and having to dash and fd - dash and fd, just lower jin cost or fix duration to approprately be 10 minutes more consistantly.
Today messing around, i was able to travel from the start of Thel the bridge, fireing off aspect, and invisd all the way to the named without it breaking - i can't imagine having to dash and flop all the way there, thats ridiculous. Also was able to invis from "the pit" in the swamps, and wander thru the tunnels quite a while before finding my way to the phage, with no interruption. On the way out it faded, leaving me to just use RiTW and just build up some jin on a wandering priest, 10 seconds and i was on my way again, where as im sure with endurance as a means of cost you'd still be flopping on the way down.

Problem is in areas like raz or APW where just ae'ing a few times isnt an option.
1) Ae's require you to be in combat to fire and net jin, and to net 8 jin is a lot of aeing/fding in raz and apw
2) Meditation is great...if you have a safe place to sit and med up jin, otherwise your stuck where you FD
3) Think about something other then invis fading.... how about if ur in an area and a see invis pops next to you, you fd and have no way to get more jin to redo an invis, no time to meditate, and trying to fight the mob might net you 2-4 jin before you have to feign and wait 30s+ to get enough hp to do it again. Which leaves you at 1-2 jin per min.
Invis isnt great when it only lasts 30 sec, but in my eyes its 10000% better then a random duration invis that costs 8 jin.
as far as my calcs --- i gave up 80 con, and went from 4555 hp to 4200 ~= 5 hp/con
On live i have 305 con and it gives 1144 hp about = 4hp/ con
So if i gained 117 con, at roughly 4 hp/con -->that would put me at 1612 con (according to my calculations)

Dragon sweeps the Claw doesn't require you to be in combat to use, just fire it off and watch you'll gain jin at anytime, only whirlwind requires you to be in combat.
Places like rahz everything in Rahz see's invis, so its quite useless regardless. Im sure APW will be the same, simple fix tho if it doesnt, save up 20 jin before you initally invis, this way if it fades or pops you have a spare invis to pop off.
If you get stuck under a see invis mob, having instant invis isn't going to help you out no matter how costly or free it is, its gonna see thru it as soon as you stand, so like any other mob or situation you get stuck in FD under a mob, do like anyother good monk does, pop up jam RiTW or Iron Skin and do a Soaring Leap, and use Ignore pain if needed, until your far away from your assaliant.
I'm sure most of you have figured this out, since they nerfed Whirlwind, but it still works for dragon monks. Just face a wall or open area (i.e. no mobs) Fire off 2 or 3 Dragon rakes the claw and get jin, click meditation (so you don't lose jin, fact even gain some) start to meditiate, and wait for your endurance to build back up as soon as your full, stand up and repeat you'll have full jin in about 30 or so seconds.
