No changes to the divine avalance line yet.  And im still not copied to test so can tell u about dragon changes.

I logged onto test last night to check it all out as well, and as well, I'm still not copied to test.  How bloody long is it going to take them to copy the people who with the whole copycharacter thing?

the fires last week took the copy service and put it on the back burner.  Hopefully it will start up again next week, im just not sure on tuesday or thursday.

Went through the posts to compile a full list of things to look for on test.  NOTE that mia just means its not in the notes and its either not in yet or i cant test it to confirm if its in.

General Monk changes

ON LIVE Palm explodes the heart – Damage improved!
     3 Finger Stike: melee + 1092 and  adds a -100% evasion debuff on the mob for 6 seconds (1% chance to miss the next 2 steps)
     Hammer Fist: Melee + 1444 + 6 second stun
     Palm Explodes the Heart: Stupidly High Damage Melee + 4k and 3k over 6 ticks




ON TEST Storm Stride – Now costs 10 end, (used to be jin cost)
----MIA----Damage boost to crescent kick – Not on test yet
ON TEST Secret of Fire: Now toggled, dot duration is same, overall damage is slightly higher
ON TEST Secret of Ice: Toggled,
Secret of ice V - adds 415 to 441 dmg per atk, slows targets atk speed and movement speed by 22%, 11% chance to freeze target for 4 sec (stun)
ON TEST Ashen Hand-damage increased from 250% to 400% weapon damage
----MIA----Divine Tsunami changing to 300% Weapon damage (CRUSHING) 30 seconds reuse timer for all parts of the AE Finishers
ON TEST Iron Hand: Buff Damage will be improved with the top level version adding 200 dmg per hit.
----MIA---Secret of Transcendance: will be modified slightly to be a short term battle buff. I am not sure if its going to keep the secret flag so it may stack with everything. I'll try and get more info on that.
ON TEST Secret of Celerity: Will now be known as Fists of Celerity reuse timer will be 5 mins and since it's no longer going to be flagged as a "Secret" skill you will be able to stack Celerity and Fire / Ice.
ON TEST Ignore Pain: will be a % based heal that will increase as you level (40% heal of base HP the final version of the ability) It will now also add a rune (All damage types)  that will also scale for 2 mins. Ignore pain will have its reuse lowered to 4 min.
---MIA/not in notes----Dragon Stance and Harmonious Body Stance will no longer wear off after an hour. (Bug Fix)
ON TEST  Kick to the heavens – damage adjusted to melee + dmg instead of just damage (to match flying kick and celestial kick of the master)
---- mia/not in notes----RiTW : You asked for it you got it, All 3 versions now last longer cost lowered to 10 end and now with a reuse timer of 1 min. Rejoice!.
-----MIA ---- iron SKIN being decerased to 5 min timer
On test Jin surge – Damage displayed on tool tip
---MIA----Jin surge- Not consumed on miss


Dragon Changes --- ALL MIA
Dragon Rakes is claws will only cost 25 end
Dragon breath boosted damage with 3 min reuse timer and 4 jin cost
Aspect of the Spirit Dragon migrating to a end cost over time. It should give you a solid 20-30 seconds of invis. w/o burning your Jin (think FD then repeat as necesssary)

Harmonious changes
ON TEST Deadly Adder Hand is converted into a DoT (It's going to keep the debuff portion.) Tooltip fixed
----,mia--- Find the Center now increases dodge instead of block   .  The refresh has been lowered to 5 minutes and the Jin cost has been reduced to 2.
----mia---- Wave hand in Clouds now has a refresh of 4 minutes and costs 4 jin.  The damage has also been increased and is affected by strength.
----mia---- Diamond Body is now an innate ability earned at level 30 for Harmonious Body Monks.  It now increases armor class by 30% and constantly purges poisons, diseases and curses. Looks like Harm Monks have been eating their green veggies.
ON TEST Aumt Ti, and Crane Stance issue has been resolved.

Drunken Changes ---- all mia---
Errant Strikes reuse timer reduced to 5 mins
Staggering Palm: Using current damage, but adding a 25% crit and 0sec insterrupt (stun), it will not incurr GC. It will also now have a 12sec refresh

Jeering Kick / Foolhardy Swagger will effectively remain unchanged, but will add additional hate to the monk.
Magnificient Stagger is being changed. Reduced to 2 Jin cost and 5 mins reuse timer.

I think this was actually in the last Test Server Patch Notes.  Dunno if iron hand actually got increased all the way to 200 though.

- Monk - Increased the damage added by Iron Fists.

crits on flying kick open flying kick again allowing for chain flying kick--- is this how it is on live? ive never noticed it before

I don't think that any finishers or counters have been able to open chains on live.

opss did the wrong one, iron hands is working

i ment to say iron skin wasnt updated ill fix it

yeah just got 14 and all crits, even on finishers can open other finishers,.... IE crit on thousand fist and then flying kick opens

Sounds pretty solid so far. I just hope they find the time to add in all the changes before they push it to Live. Especially the Dragon ones.  Tongue

on another note, now that our secrets will be rather useful, do you think they will update the animations on them so that they actually look interesting? because in my opinion the animations are rather lame when you have a secret activated. It's basically just a standard boring attack with a cheesy animation based on the secret. It would be nice to have our standard animations during the secrets

Next round of monk changes hit the test server today
Monk - Magnificent Drunken Stagger now has a refresh of 5 minutes and costs 2 Jin.
- Monk - Reed in the Wind is now available at level 16 and its progression has been altered. Upgrades are available at level 30 and 44.
- Monk - Reed in the Wind now costs 10 endurance, has a refresh of 60 seconds and increases dodge chance by a larger amount. It no longer incurs global recovery.
- Monk - Deadly Adder Hand now deals damage over time in addition to the final damage of the ability. The final damage has been increased significantly.
- Monk - Find the Center now increases dodge instead of block. The refresh has been lowered to 5 minutes and the Jin cost has been reduced to 2.
- Monk - Wave hand in Clouds now has a refresh of 4 minutes and costs 4 jin. The damage has also been increased and is affected by strength.

cool beans just doing my part as a tester :-p i cant test buff and i only just hit 16 on the test so a few of the tiems are a bit dificult to test.

Any idea where to learn ritw at 16?

You know I dont know if they moved the mobs the give the skill... I would say CIS / TK is prolly a little high for a 16 lol

 mayb eits me, but i use foolhardy swagger and jeering kick alot, just wondering why the added hate to it? would rather have something else looked at that needs improvement or added rather than fixing something that is not broke.

  ie I dont want thse 2 changes counting towards my fix as a drunken when there not broke.  such as the DS   [ slap hands ]  last more then 30 seconds.
   more utility out of pushing hands other then the 3 mobs it works on or a new ability all together
