Yeah, I was somewhat curious about the changes, I going to have to wait until top lvlish before I notice any difference?  Coz we lag behind throughout the lvls.
Also any idea on changes to ignore pain?  As it is now Im ignoring the equivalent of a bee sting-hardly monkly stuff

P.E.H. is a level 50 chain and was in desperate need of improvement, and to be honest I feel like I dropped the ball on that one and felt obligated to right that wrong.

Zeb, I dont have a time line for the enhancements yet. You will eventually see definate improvements in your AE attacks as well 6 dragon strike (A new icon too. Soemthing about daggers seemed un-monkly.). Your normal ashen hand, crescent kick , secrets of fire / ice / transcendance will be getting improved also.

This will mean you should see improvements through out all levels of play. P.E.H. changes are just the 1st of the changes to hit the test server.

I've spent some time chatting with Talikser regarding skills that are being based on int / vit on that and I am under the impression that ignore pain will eventually be getting changed (Perhaps a % based heal), but  I can't say with 100% certainty just yet.

When I do get some more info on that stuff I will be letting y'all know.

Also, it would be nice if ignore pain didnt break feign death, i was hoping it would work more like EQ1 Mend

Hm not sure i like the current changes to the secrets of flame/ice.

Currently they are 1 min on (yey) and 2 min recast (boo), and i know the damage is going to be upped, but its a shame they only put half of the change in so far

Uhm I was under impression all the shuriken weapons were dealing the same damage, regardless of the actually dmg on them. I think I didn't see any real difference between vendor bought shurikens with 1 and 450 skill needed

Update,

Taking your feedback regrading Secrets and Ignore Pain along with my broken record of "I love toggled abilities" we arrive  at this next update.
  • Iron Hand: Buff Damage will be improved with the top level version adding 200 dmg per hit.

  • Secret of Fire: will now be a toggled ability with a large increase in damage to compensate for low int so if you change form Con to Int you will see a difference. The proc rate for the DoT will be increased and improved. It should last longer and do more damage.

  • Secret of Ice: will now be a toggled ability with a large increase in damage to compensate for low int so if you change form Con to Int you will see a difference. The proc will be changed to melee slow and a snare (a la Frost effect). The proc rate will be increased.

  • Secret of Transcendance: will be modified slightly to be a short term battle buff. I am not sure if its going to keep the secret flag so it may stack with everything. I'll try and get more info on that.

  • Secret of Celerity: Will now be known as Fists of Celerity reuse timer will be 5 mins and since it's no longer going to be flagged as a "Secret" skill you will be able to stack Celerity and Fire / Ice.

  • Ignore Pain: will be a % based heal that will increase as you level (40% heal of base HP the final version of the ability) It will now also add a rune (All damage types)  that will also scale for 2 mins. Ignore pain will have its reuse lowered to 4 min.
I would appreciate feedback on this.

I'll ask questions, because I'm not sure what those changes would entail.

- Iron Hand: does this mean it will become a proc with 100% chance to go off, or will it still increase Melee Damage? Will it still last an hour?
- Secrets of Fire and Ice: sounds good. Will there still be a Jin cost associated with them to be able to switch between the two?
- Secret of Transcendence: a short term battle buff is rather vague. I'd love more info.
- "Fists of Celerity": will it still have the same effects, but just be lowered in reuse time? If so, sounds terrific.
- Ignore  Pain: Yeehaw. Not only a % based heal, but a rune as well? Now that actually sounds like ignoring pain  Smiley

It's going to stay the same in terms of duration / jin cost. Just the damage is going to go up.

There will be a jin cost associated with turning a secret on. It would be ill advised to swap secrets every other special.  idiot2
