1) that three wave thing looks bugged cause its not adding any damage
2) no its not uncommon to have epic hits for 30k, you realize rangers get epic hits for 100-150k though with windsong (or whatever their equivalent of thousand fist is)
3) With a bard and dragon/drunken i average 30-50k crits with the thousand fist line, the problem is how often is it? ill tell you, not often enough to compete with rangers.
4) your stats seem really weak for a 50 dragon monk , 666 dps and 600ish str?  Thats what i am unbuffed, and i see you have cleric buffs + str of the gods on,  i also see your not in offensive stance, but something seems odd,  Im my average group im 900 str and 1200 dps.

Possibly was a bug not sure.....there MAY be a bug or two in this game hehe, did have a secret going at the time. The dps is for main hand only it dosn't show off hand dps and i see by your profile you use a two hander. Also I am in offensive stance but grouped with 3 tanks and a rogue not much stat help there. When grouped with a bard my offensive stats go way up.Your profile shows str only around 550ish what buff are you getting to make it go up as high as you say? That crafted gear you have is very nice but I dont have the money to buy it so all my gear is gotten adventuring so yeah it sux, seems like crafted stuff alot better in this game.I appreciate your contribution to the board I read it alot but never post.I was interested in the things you said about drunken monk ,thinking about givin it a whirl.

Cleric alone should set you to 700 str, and then i usualy get a disciple or shm to buff it again.

Ok dual wielding sure, that makes more sense on the dmg in the main hand, my main hand is 700 and off hand is 350 so that makes a bit more sense.

I wanna know what the 3x swiftly attack thing is, cause ive never seen that, but to top it off its not adding any dmg.

Although i am finding there is a cap to + crit, so ive been trading out + crit for +melee dmg gear bit by bit.  I find 15% more dps from gear +24% from a stance is more benifical then the +10% crit from gear.

That's Secret of Celerity coupled with Thousand Fists line.  The secret adds 1 line of that, the thousand fist line, if you read the help, says it strikes quickly 3x.

Combine the 2 and you get those 4 (original +3 extra) lines.  Probably, thousand fists normally hides the additional hits, but Celerity turns that logging of that on, something like that if I had to hazard a guess as to the code behind it.

Don't know if it happens every time, but I've definitely seen it on my monk from the exact same combo.

On that note, is there a cap to +melee dmg ?

If there is a cap to + melee dmg i havent found it yet, im at +35% with gear + stance, and with a bard song and disciple buff i can easily crack 150% dps.

Cool. Very good to know. When I finally get around to ordering that crafted set, I'll make sure I don't go overboard on the crits.
