Conclusions

Stances
Offense stance - In terms of raw dps , Dragon> Harmonious>drunken.    However drunken dps stance is very very close to the dragon.   Overall, all 3 are pretty close.
Defensive stance - Tough call, id probably say Harmoius and Drunken are close, with harmonious taking the lead with its 25% reduction in end cost, this allows you to use aum kor for maximum efficentcy.  Dragon is the worst, the rune is nice now that it works however the set mitigation it adds is small.
Medium - Drunken wins hands down, the refresh rate stacks with aum kor for 35% reduction takin 30 min spells down to <20 min, and 5 min spells to less then 3.5 min.  The jin gain and hp regens are way to small to be useful.

Endurance attacks
Dragon have 3 attacks, the other 2 only have 2.  However, the third attack is a really expensive endurance ae.
The second endurance attack is definatly the most dmg by dragon (feet of fire drag) , the others get a mitigation debuff and a taunt.
The third attack is again toped by the dragons, the other 2 get a 32 sec debuff, and a weak attack that can be exploited with boundless fist.

Thoughts: The dragon does have 3 end attacks AND all 3 attacks are easily the top dmg of the 3 classes.  However Harmonious and drunken get MUCh more utility from taunts, debuffs.

Jin Attacks
All 3 get a 5 min attack with a garunteed crit, all do really small dmg.  Overall this attack is pretty worthless.
All 3 get a 2 min attack which opens a finisher with increased crit %.  The drunk has no damage, and the dragons has amazing dmg.  The extra dmg from melee dmg to the dragons attack makes it a really decent regular attack.
The third attack varys, with dragons getting a horrible 1k ae on a 10 min timer, and the harmonious monk getting probably the best attack in the game.  +10% dps which lasts for 1 min!  And again the drunken gets no 3rd attack.

Finishers
Each class gets a 2 part finisher unique to their style.
Supprisingly, the drunken version is the most damage.

Then each class also gets a continuation of a basic monk finisher.  Hands down drunken AGAIN gets the best dmg with TWO continuations to thousand fist.  Harmonoius is weak sause, but reusable every 2 seconds (600 dmg) where as the dragons is an ae.

Defensive finishers
Again, the drunken monk has the highest dmg finisher, single target big dmg.

Buffs
Dragons get 2 buffs, invis and a damage shield.  While the ds is nice and provides excellent fire save.  The invis is way over rated.  you are much better using invis totems.
Both drunken and harmonious get an additional avoidance buff.
And finaly drunken get the most total buffs with thier last being probably the best.  It makes all attacks hit all mobs in range IF they are on the defensive target.   This skill with secret of celerity basicly makes it so u can ae thousand fists with double dmg.  Feign ---> cast both buffs ---> use the 2 min finisher opener ---> use thousand fist --->thunder fist --> legendary fist-----> fist of transcendence for about 30k minimum dmg.

Overall (these are my opinions)
The dragons get the highest dmg attacks hands down, as well as the best dps stance.  However as far as finishers go drunken wins hands down.  At 50 a drunken can let lose thousand fists every 38 seconds.   Not to mention the unique fnisher for drunk is the most dps, as well as their defensive finisher being the best dps.

Dragon - Larget dps regular attacks, high dps stance, low utility and buffs, lots of aes, sadly dragon breath is worthless and the 1 min timer on a 300 dmg ae stun is weak also.
Stances - Offensive stance is definitely the highest dps of the stances, however the mitigation penalty up till 30 is way to harsh.  Dragon regen is worthless, but harmonious's intermediate stance is worthless too.  Defensive stance is spot on, exactly what id expect from a dps monk.
Feet of the fire dragon - With jin strike this attack is amazing and does a ton of dmg.
Six dragon strike - with boundless fist this does decent damage for sure
Dragon rakes its claws - nice ae dmg, but the endurance cost is a bit to high for me, i can spam whirling storm non stop where as this one i can do a few then need to wait.
Cloud Dragon Ruse - nice skill, decent dmg, but i mainly use it when i NEED to open a crit immediatly, ala i used secret of celerity and need to get a thousand fist off. and being as all 3 styles get the same skill its a moot point that this one does more dmg, since i save it for secret of celerity (10-15 min inbetween use)
Dragon Rage - Another skill i never use, 300 dmg, IF it hits it crits, and it costs a ton of jin. Moot point that it does the most dmg of the 3 styles simply because ive used it 1 time in 20 levels
Dragon breath - I NEVER USE IT, its 8 jin for an ae attack that does 1k dmg with a 10 min reuse

gouging/sundering dragon -The original finisher is nice, but drunkes does more dmg and garuntees the next hit wil crit, this one just makes it do 50% more dmg, 50% more dmg on a 3k dot isnt bad dont get my wrong, and if it crits it does more dmg.
divine tsunami - meh its nice dmg, its a decent reuse timer, but i find i die a ton when i ae
Dragon sweeps its tail - low dmg, short duration stun, mostly worthless being as its never up when u need to interupt a caster.

Can exploit  1 attack.  Boundless fist ---> dragon strike

Harmonious - moderate dmg attack, weakest finisher, lots of debuffs, best self buff (+10% dmg)
The combo that both end attacks debuff the target, as well does the defensive buff makes this class optimal for soloing.
Has no exploits in can use. ALA it cant add a weakness then exploit it.

Celestial Kick of the master is actually Melee + 600, also its buged atm and it "says" it hits you as well.
The offensive stance has a harsh endurance penalty, however soloing lvl 40 - 4 dots was easy and i never ran out of endurance with my end regen at 6.  Not as high dmg hits as dragon, but crited a ton more (as you should)

Also 3 defensive buffs is nice, counter is bleh since you still get hit, but the other 2 are decent, and good life savers.  Deadly adder and eagle claw are rediculously powerful when combined with steal the wind and whitering palm.  4 debuffs you can put on the mob 2 of which buff you up as well.

Overall i like harmonious, the high crit rate is nice, the clestial kick is nice since its instant reuse.  3 def bufs, 4 attacks that make you better and the mob weaker,  This style kills a lot slower then dragon for sure, but it is A TON easier to kill.

Drunken - lowest dmg regular attacks, best finishers, lowest dps offensive stance (still not bad though 22% dmg vs 24)  with the most utility, has taunts and ae's and counters that work like big dmg shields.

Can exploit 2 attacks

Boundless fist --> staggering punch ---> crescent kick
Makes staggering and crescent do about twice the damage.

On a side note im going to go drunken.  Was dragon for ever, but i think with the right player, drunken can easily do the same if not better dps.

No problem i was bored and really and just wanted to test dps of the 3 styles.

PS.  For new monks im gonna recommend they go harmonious for now.   I must say of the 3 styles, if your going to solo at all harmonious is bad ass.  I was able to solo 40 - 4dots one after another with harmonious (no down time or waiting on skill refreshes).

Harmonious dps was less then drunken and dragon, but the massive amounts of debuffs/buffs they get makes them very well suited for solo / small group.

At 50 it depends on what kind of monk you are.
MAX dps monk - id prolly recomend dragon or drunken
Small Group dps/utility - harmonious
Dou monk - drunken/harmonious
Best tank (as far as taking hits) - harmonious
best tank (as far as holding agro) - drunken

Does Whirling Storm decrease in endurance cost at 50? Cause from where I'm standing, its Endurance cost is identical to that of Dragon Rakes its Claw.

only thing i recall missing on the drunken master stance; is the additional agro from being in that particular stance.   so my preferance of tanks is dk>war>pally.

I believe it is 25% agro, going from memory here:P since server transfers are happening atm.

1) yes the middle stance for drunken adds agro, doesnt say how much though.  Atm i prefer offensive stance for the 22% dmg, aum kor for refresh haste, and then just whailing with thousand fist x4
2) no whirling storm never decreases in end cost and it is always less then dragon rakes it claws.  (wanna say its 30 vs 38) but i cant be sure since im drunken now

3) any drunkens out there give me some tips on errant stirke?  does it not give an icon when cast, can the defensive target not be yourself?  ive used it twice while tanking 3-4 mobs at once expecting for it to ae them but i didnt even get a buff icon.

4) rare bug and i havent been able to reproduce it yet, but i some how got slap hands to counter myself and it went into a vicious cycle of me countering me, which led to me countering me, which ultimately led to me dieing due to me countering myself 20+ times in under a second.  "combat log said you counter fujitsu's  attack, you hit fujitsu for 340" "fujitsu hits you for 340 but you counter his attack and hit for 340" x20..... anyone else ever get that

just an FYI, crane does stack with aum ti.  Its stacked for as long as I have both.  Until I got aum kor I was almost always in aum ti and crane for the super reduced endurance.

Hm well i was only harmonious for about 40 minutes.  Long enough to try out some 40 4 dots.

I know both spells could be on at the same time but i dont remember geting an addition reduction to endurance cost, not really in the mood to switch back to harmonious so ill take your word.

There have been issues in the past with Aum Ti  conflicting with crane stance. it was sent to coding a while ago. It is entrirely possible that it got ninja patched. The same situation existed with Aum Kor and  Drunken Mastery Stance. I'll mess around when I get home to double check.

Its easy enough to check these out.

If you can beat me to it, by all means post the results.

1). nod it is indeed drunken mastery with the additional hatred for being in the stance, use to state it was 25%, now the  description just reads as a unknown amount generated.

2 skipped

3). errant strikes only works for me with a when I have a group memeber targetted. icon works form e last night in Magor Domo's area fine.

4). your bug has happened to me more then once. normally when i go farm some lvl 20-30's area for items but only on named, in my expeirence.

I double checked tonight.  It appears that eternal crane does not stack though all the previous crane forms do in fact stack.  So it is infact a bug with eternal crane stance.
