Anyone parsed this? Anyone tested something about slower or faster weapon in offhand.
What is the better way?
Slower weapon lowers the damage from mainhand but also raises the offhand damage.
I allways asked me is there a perfect combination, just like in older games - slow huge sword in mainhand and fast dagger in offhand.

Im actualy using two crafted handwraps both with 2,25 speed.

Whatever, maybe someone here knows more or done some tests - would be nice to hear   Smiley

thx

Both hands fire at the same time and the delay is configured from a formula using both hands.I think the preferred is still going to be Best weapon primary hand.

We don't truely duel wield a la EQ 1.

All than said if you can get your delay under 2.0 you will fire an auto attack between and special moves you make.  It is a nice DPS boost.

I agree and disagree.

Im a drunken monk and love it! Now, Where the game currently sits with Warriors are basically the Jerry's Kids of the game right and monks currently not to much farther above them. Monks have been neglected since the end of beta (actually before that) and we are in need of a crucial looking at. True we got a couple of things that helped Slightly but when i run into pvp with my guild the people that always stand out are the clerics/necro's and twinked bards/rangers. We STILL Dont do enough Output dmg to stand ground in pvp without having to pop one person run like crazy to a healer pop anothre and hope you can run back to get healed. In PVE Us Monks are decent but in PVP We are one of the bottom rung on the ladder. I hope SOE will come out and give monks the loving we deserve but as it looks right now were not going to be getting anything any time soon.

I have two hand wraps that are each below 2.0 but i still don't auto attack between specials even with all my melee time reducers(aum kor, and the harmonious debuff) What am I doing wrong or did you just mean to wait that extra second after global cooldown for an auto attack

What I meant is that between specials (2 second "global" cooldown) would give your autoattack enough time to activate. If you are below 2 seconds you should see it.  what weapons / haste items are you using? There may be a reason for it.

I'm using aluul's claw and another handwrap whos name slips my mind but it is below 2.0.

Like I said in my other post I usually use both aum kor and steal the wind(?) to get my attack speed as low as possible. Does it flash across your screen? I spam my specials and don't really hesitate for auto attacks but I don't see the auto attacks in the combat log between my specials.

You should be seeing auto attacks then. What sounds like is happening is that the effect of steal the wind / aum kor when combined are having an undesired result.

Since both of your HTH weapons are below 2.0 1st check for auto attacks w/o either buff running. Then try each one seperately. If indivudually its working we can confirm the stacking issue. Aum Kor seems to have it's share of enemies when applying refresh / melee haste so this wouldn't entirely surprise me.
