Ok in this game if you are rooted or stunned that's pretty much it I am gathering from the encounters I have had so far on my Monk. This games needs some kind of purge like in DAoC or something to nullify effects like this. Otherwise if they get it off(not to mention from invis) you can be just rendered useless for a long time. I got stunend the other day for like 20 seconds or so while my enemy just beat the crap out me and his buddy casted from afar with absolutely no fear. This is utterly rediculous that a caster class or stealther clas or any class with stun can do this without fear. Every fight can be just about won with stun it seems. Now to play devils advocate  I do not have a lvl 50 but on the PvP server you are constantly in danger in certain areas and this is a favored tactic. My monk is only lcl 20 but my experience in MMo's is long and this is kind of silly. Are there any changes in the works for this or is it just going to be who sees who first and then its release and camp the alter after that? If this isnt going to be changed I'll just delete the game off right now. I really like to play but I refuse to fight that fight. Let me know what your experiences are and if you know something I do not. I would love to be wrong about my predicted end game experience. Thanks for any info you can provide. (This is why I kept my DAoC account active with my RR11 infil on it. You never know what disappointments you may find in a unfinished game release) tickedoff

While PVP tends to take a backseat to PVE I'll ask around to see what's up with monk PVP.
