Meditation Need and Animation, something big, something to let people know that monks are meditating and not just sitting down doing nothing. Make it so we also cant lose Jin while we are meditating. Thats All, Monks Pwn.

Little things like this add a lot of immersion and atomosphere.  I've really been enjoying the updated combat animations and a mediatation animation would certainly be neat as well.

Imagine coming across a monk floating about three feet in the air - legs crossed in a lotus position, eyes closed, palms upturned and resting on his knees, his cape fluttering in an unseen breeze.  Calm, serene,  and at peace with his surrounds, yet strangely alert with an air of power and control.

I have said all along they should use the old Jedi meditation from SWG.  That was just awesome.  At least if we have no utility in combat, we can have soaring leap, broken FD, and awesome meditation particle effects.   Grin

Heck Ya, the Jedi Meditation in Pre CU SWG was the best. and i think FD is working Just Fine, and DON'T Touch our Leap!!!! For The Love Of God, Don't Touch IT!!!!!!

Well, now you mention it... why was the levitation effect removed upon learning an ability through an Aum? Now it just looks like I'm flatulant when I learn something.

What? there was one?

I second the animation for the meditation..specially since people never know what I am doing if I sit down for a short time to refresh a buff or something (unless I use my macro which I hate using..)

Yea, you would slowly ascend into the air when you used an aum, lasted a few seconds but looked quite cool!

Aye, Leishu. Don't remember if they took it out in the Live stage or in the last days of beta, though. I suspect the latter.

Honestly, i would rather they remove all of our combat animations and they put them back the way they were.  Atleast then I didn't look retarded taking 10 seconds to punch something.  The animations, while nice, are way to long, and need to be fixed.

Besides the fact that I really like the animations, I can think of two who are a little bit  longer then 2 seconds. On top I hardly ever fight without a secret on and then the animations get replaced by punches anyway.
