My friend just crafted this Martial Sword for me as I dinged 26.  I must say the dps is great, but the proc is rather odd.  After testing it for an hour or so I saw no difference between any abilities damage with the effect on.  Thoughts?

It amplifies spells - not any abilities. Spells is something monks lack; hence it wont make any diffrence - with the possible exception of the pinnacle ability of the dragon stance, where you might be able to do 1100 damage instead of 1000 each 10 minute!

At least the particle effect on the proc looks kewl.

Oh well, I figured it wouldn't work for Monk abilities.  I guess there are some Disciple spells that this would be good for, not many though.
