I find it completely amazing how much work they put into rangers while monks get minor baindaids.  Enjoy............

- Ranger – Added upgrades to Nature’s remedy every 10 levels
- Ranger – Nature’s Remedy now takes 2 seconds to cast, is usable in combat and removes a set poison magnitude, rather than all poison/ disease.
- Ranger – Ferocity is now percentage based and increases endurance regeneration. It lasts for 50 seconds and has a 15 minute refresh timer.
- Ranger – Wind Talisman no longer increases melee haste. It now lowers refresh rate by 10% and endurance costs by 25%. It also makes Windsong better when activated (similarly to Whisper of the Wind).
- Ranger – Panther Talisman no longer increases evasion. It now increases your endurance by 20, increases HP regeneration and max HP.
- Ranger – Destructive Swarm is now instant cast and has an 8 second refresh timer.
- Ranger – Rancor now increases the damage of your group members every time it is used, rather than increasing the damage of every group member attacking your target.
- Ranger – Shocking Arrow now has a chance to stun.
- Ranger – Deadeye is now available as a secret chain.
- Ranger- Increased the damage on Foraged arrows.
- Ranger – Foraged Arrow Shafts can now be converted into Shortened Bolt Shafts and vice versa.
- Ranger – Added a chance to get more than 1 foraged arrow piece per forage.
- Ranger – Increased foraged arrow assembly to produce 15 arrows at a time.
- Ranger – Summer Cloak now grants a 50% proc on attack to give you strength. This is on top of your chance to proc when you get hit.
- Ranger – Thorn Cloak now has a chance to proc damage over time when you are hit.
- Ranger – The Maelstrom ability line has been added to your trainers. This is a 3rd step in your AE attack chain.
- Ranger – Splitting Arrow now only hits up to 6 targets.

It has came to the point that you either accept the monk as is, or play another class, or you quit playing altogether.
Monk love has come and gone.  The Talikar and the other dev has taken a good look at us and said, "Yeah this is how a monk should perform."

Personally i think rangers, however better position they are in than us, deserve a round of ranger love.  Knowing Sigil, they'll probably break more ranger skills than they claim they fixed anyways.  2funny

I refuse to belive this is how Monks are supposed to be and I think that QtM and the dev team are working hard to fix our issues.  Plus, Rangers got a pretty big nerf.  You aren't supposed to be able to kill 20 level 41 4dots all at once Smiley

Umm, hasn't there been a wish list of things for the past few months?

*scratches head*

I'm just biding my time waiting for Sigil to be bought out. Apparently that's what appears is going to happen. Perhaps then classes will be properly balanced.

Im playing a necro now in hopes they will bring the monk to what I feel is its description. Im hoping that day will come and I can go back to my monk which is my true love.  Id rather play the monk and enjoy leveling it in the state that I feel is intended.  If I had played the monk the whole time, I would have been lvel 50 over a month ago.  I want to enjoy it at all levels not just level 50.  If the monk is currently at the intended state then I am not sure I will ever go back to it.

So yeah, I am still passionate about the class...because its the one I really wanna play.

Feign death STILL broken which makes for mediocre puller, DPS on par with defensive fighters and very little utility someone explain to me again why groups would want a monk in their group?  I want to bring something to the groups I'm in and be able to solo those very few times that I need to solo.  So far every other class I've played brings more to a group and solos better than the monk and I'd really like to play my monk and be the puller with high dps.

- Aggro management tools for the drunk Style

I hate to say it, but when devs are buffing an already overpowered class, and if you don't know what I am talking about, feel free to ask any GOOD (keyword GOOD) ranger, and ignoring the fact that we still are not where we should be yet, there are issues.  btw QTM my aoe still does NOT work. -_-;

Yeah i have a monk wish list too.   I've had it for about 3 or 4 months now.............

Maybe your "whish" list is appropriate because thats the sound thats made when the devs pass right over us every patch.

Yay even more over powered classes get more love

- Cleric – Maul of Divinity now lasts 2 minutes, up from 20 seconds.
- Cleric – Removed the refresh timer from Hand of Censure
- Cleric - Maul of the Gods now lasts 5 minutes, up from 2.
- Cleric – Removed the refresh time from Rout.
- Cleric – Removed the refresh timer from Maul of the Gods.
- Cleric – Added Hammer of Penance to trainers starting at level 6
- Cleric – Added Strike Down to trainers starting at level 2
- Cleric – Added Litany of Enjoining to trainers at level 34
- Cleric – Added Condemnation to trainers at level 36
- Druid – Removed the 1 second delay before Quelling Wind became effective.
- Psionicist – Corporeal Hammer now has a 4 second cast time and 8 second refresh.
- Psionicist – Fixed a bug that caused Psionicists to deal less damage than intended when exploiting a weakness. Further increased the damage that PSi’s deal when they exploit a weakness
- Psionicist – Lowered cast time of most Psionic Blasts and most Mental Blasts
- Psionicist – All versions of Psionic Blast and Mental Blast now lowers your targets intelligence by a set amount.
- Shaman - Hammer of Krigus will no longer stack with itself.
- Shaman – Bite of Nag-Suul has had its progression altered to make for a smoother damage curve. The new progression is 22, 30, 38, 46, 50
- Shaman – New versions of Bite of Nag-Suul have been added to trainers at level 46 and 50
- Shaman – Strike of Skamadiz now has a refresh timer of 8 seconds.
- Shaman – Removed the refresh timer from Spear of the Ancients and Bite of Nag-Suul
- Shaman – Removed the refresh timer from Vicious Bite
- Shaman – Spear of the Ancestors now costs 10 endurance
- Sorcerer – Blinding Fire has been added to trainers, starting at level 42, and upgrading every 8 levels.
- Sorcerer – Seradon’s Falling Star has been added to trainers, starting at level 38, and upgrading every 6 levels.
- Sorcerer – Mirror Ward and Nulling Ward are now group targeted.
- Sorcerer – Mirror Ward and Nulling Ward now have a cast time of 6 seconds.

I think the guy that does monk was involved in a car crash, or some other kind accident that left him unable to play or look at our class.  That is the only thing I can think of.  I am usually on the side of the devs, and keep an open mind that change is coming.  Unless there is a huge monk revamp coming, there is no reason at all that rangers, sorc and other already powerful classes should be getting more powerful, while we struggle just killing equal level mobs and have to work with broken game mechanics (FD anyone?).  I suppose we are where devs think we should be, that is a possible explination I guess...  I am 140% away from level 50, and unless there is change, or change on the horizon,  I cannot see myself renewing my sub next month.  While they are at it, it would be nice if we could get some frickin hand weapons in the game.  This 40dps +50 energy BS has got to go.

I kinda start to agree...

I don't see the reason for all those classes getting new abilities and getting more power to their already powerful spells.
I never was one for class envy or for bitching about my class in any game..Vanguard sure changed this.
