Where do these quests start and how hard are they to do? Ive seen several offensive fighers wearing the gear.  What do the quests involve, etc?

Take the portal in Khal to Strandan.  The quest turnin guy is here, but you actually get the quests to the west in a small hunter village.  Your first quest is to kill the groundserpent.  You can do this solo around level 38, but it's still very difficult, 3dot mob and all.  Next you gotta gather 3 chilopod segments and go summon the carnipod.  Once this is complete, you can do rank 3 and 4 hunts after turning in your two badges for a crappy pendant.  I would just skip rank 2, I think it's bugged now anyway.  Rank 4 is a joke for those leggings, I did it right after rank 1.  Rank 3 is much harder, as you need two badges for the pendant.  For the golem, just bring a healer and go defensive.  For the other part you either need to split with stun, or have a CC class.  Rank 4 is the mad psionicist, who is a joke.  He runs at 10%, so clear the mobs on the beach first.  Rank 5 is freaking hard.  You need at least a 40 tank, healer, and yourself.  The tunic is worth it though, great stats and hand to hand mod.

Hope this helps Cheesy

For rank5, bring a friend who can snare and just shuriken him to death Cool
The mob hits really really hard though, so dont even think of trying to tank him unless u have a high level tank with u.

I dont think you need a 40 tank,  the mob is a lvl 38 4 dot i believe, so a 35 tank and a healer around that lvl would be fine.  He is a jerkoff mob though, likes to stun, so do everything to help tank keep aggro and keep mob off healer.  These quests are super easy though, i just was really confused on how to start them.  If you don't know go to khal and take teleporter to strandan or wherever, the S one and you'll pop up in a little port town.  From there head east towards the mountains and there looks liek a little nook on your map against the mountains, it kinda curves in eastward.  There is a little Kurashasa camp there and one of the NPCs on the rock gives you the first quest to kill some named snake.  You have to do this quest before you can start the other BH quests.  After you kill the snake and finish that quest, head back to the little port place you ported into and the NPCs around there will have quests for you.  Even if you are KoS you can still get close enough to hail the NPCs to get there quests.  I did this as a lvl 34 orc monk, and i had a high lvl tank in the area help with part 5.  We did part 5 without a healer (tank was a paladin) and we just bounced aggro long enough for us to kill it.  Was tough though. Part 3 was pretty harsh, i think you have to fight both mobs at the same time.  When you run up the steep mountainy hill behidn the arena place both mobs run down after you.   Will have to mez one.  Definately don't do these quests without a buddy btw.  All mobs are at least 3 dots and since we are so damn gimp we can't solo them unless we're like 3-5 lvls above these mobs.  All mobs are between 34-38 i believe, all 3 dots except for the 4 dot boss mob for part 5.  If you need any more clarification post here.  Quests are easy, and very self explanatory, and the map locations are correct.

U do not need a lvl40 tank.  I did with myself, a 35 tank, and a 37 disciple.  Was no problem at all, think we did all the quests in an hour or hour and a half.

I'm level 29 at the moment.  Is it too early for me to start this quest?  My current ac is an abismal 687 or so (with the TK6 cloak  Sad ) so I could definately use a serious upgrade.

nm I got my answer in this statement by Shengyi.  Its way hard for melee to affect anything greater than 3 levels above you.
