It looks like it used to be: +20% damage, +25% hate

What is it now?

@50:

20% Dmg, 5% dodge, -5% mit

Big Nerf for overall versatility imo.

Ya, pretty sure we were promised a bigger % damage with this patch...take off the evasion, who cares, give us the +dmg we were looking at.

I dont know why anyone would want to give up 5% mit for 5% dodge...It doesnt even make sense for them to put that in.  It seems obvious to me that the drunken monk was suppose to be a good off tank when they first concepted it.  Way back when he even was.  It seems though once they decided to nerf evasion they tried to steer away from that concept.  Its almost as if they cut pieces of paper up, write abilities and percentages on them, put em all in a hat and draw 3 out and thats how they come up with these borked changes.

When I first rolled my monk I rolled it to be a good puller.  I loved doing this in EQ1 and it worked the same in beta and even at release here.  I went drunken at first because they looked to be really good evasive wise. Evasion would not only be good for off tanking but would help greatly in some tough pulls. They also looked like they had really good agro management too.  I loved it at first.  Then the evasion nerf came and I switched to harm because drunken was borked and pointless.  Then they borked up FD...yes I know you can single just fine yadda yadda yadda..I like the other way thats my preference so to me its borked.  That just killed the monk for me and I have been trying to love it ever since.  It made the game completely miserable for me and I didnt even want to play at all anymore.  I rolled like 8 alts and now am having a huge blast with my necro...I also had a blast with the other alts but not as much fun as the necro.

Why do I still come here if I shelved my monk?  Well because I have been in this community since release.  I wasnt the first one here but I was probably in the first 10 to 15 people range while the community built.  I will always be a monk at heart and I hope one day they will be what they are supposed to be and I will come back.  Until then I will still browse and put my 2 cents in.  If you dont like what I have to say well just deal with it.  I dont like things some others say but I dont hate anyone of you.  I know everyone here is just trying to help get this class where it should and thats all that matters.  I know I am emotional and passionate..I know I sometimes flame...thats just me but I love you all.  I do have  some intelligent things to say about the class its just my methods of putting them out there are not always intellingent.

Sorry didnt mean to hijack the thread I was trying to talk about drunken monk but I started thinking about other things.
