Zank is a good weapon. For a Disciple that is.

High level monks, time to show off YOUR non-Zank weapon and where mob must I molest to get it Cool

A couple sources post-30 for some nice monk weapon that I know of are...
Zaraj Arena for "Tranquility"
and Drugan's Tomb for its end-of-questline-reward

I fail to see what's wrong with Zank? It's the best and easiest to obtain weapon a Monk will have until near 40.

If you're talking about Zank, it's obtained off a fairly long and involving yet not overly difficult quest line in the Coterie Infineum Sanctuary on Western Qalia that can be started around level 22. Do not expect to obtain the weapon however until at least level 28.

There's nothing wrong with Zank at level 30.  But by level 38 you'd be wishing there are more monk weapons to choose from.

I did a little research on vgplayers, apparently there are only a little more than 10 rare and above monk weapons better than Zank.

Darkwind, blade of Pestilence - Ruin of Vol Tuniel
Tranquility - Zaraj Arena
Sabresnout Windblade - Ceros Isle
Jathzel's Crescent Staff
Firey Crescent Staff of Destruction - Ruin of vol Tuniel
Boneshard Ulak - fallen cove
Athenian wutever - river palace
Autumcloud Ulak - Ceros Isle
Flamescarred Handwrap - Jathred's Twist
Hrukstraz's Serrated Shinbone - Karrus Hakrel
Dwarven Martiall Staff of Bashing - Dargun's Tomb

River Palace is early lvl30s, at the end of the River Valley.  Or u can access it by porting to Strandan from Khal and running Eastward to River Palace chunck, then climb up  the mountain to the actual palace.

Ruins of Vol Tuniel is in the South Eastern corner of Thestra, south of Wardship of Sleeping Moon.

Tranquility is a joke. I understand its a parry weapon but my god...The dagger is the same DPS and all other 2h weapons are 65-70 DPS(from the arena I mean). Monk itemization really sucks in this game. Got my monk to 37 and frankly I think its time to play my DK who is 20 because Im getting tired of being sub-par AND having issues getting weapons/armor upgrades.

Martial Swords are one-handed two-handed weapons because of their ability to parry, which invalidates their choice as a group weapon totally; any reward that features a martial sword should feature a staff/spear or form of handwrap aswell.

The Graystone Bladestaff (it's actually a martial staff, don't be fooled by icon or name!) is obtained in the Graystone dungeon in Bernarids Hill. Do the main quest (obtain 4 blessings, each blessing is a quest in one of the four wings) and you get it.
You need 135 insiginias I think to summon all the required nameds - make sure you don't summon them before. Doing the quests will give everyone 10 insignias (they are tradeable). If you have a set group, then it's pretty much just down to farming the rest (named/PH are guaranteed dropers, trash have a rather low rate) - but you'll have quite a lot already from doing the quests.
Due to the nature of needing 135 insiginias total, it's a lot more tricky if you don't have a set group (even if smaller than 6, it just requires more time to accumility the insignias).

The worst part is that the staff look like the old model for Dorven Staff of Bashing (wooden stick with two lightbulbs on, with some metal around) and since only the top glows, you end up looking a bit like a christmas tree. Where's wooden sticks without any lightbulbs? :/

Highest level of mob is 43. However, you'll need some hitpoints and level as wing 3 and 4 are skeletons and you'll be tanking a lot there. Roughly 40 is a nice bet; good experience aswell.

Hi I have done both quests, DT and Graystone.

What to say ?

It took me far more time to obtain the weap in DT than the one in Graystone. There is nothing clever in Graystone. Just 4 blessing quests which are so easy (I have started at lvl 40 and finished there I was 43 when obtaining the last reward). When you have done the 4 blessing you farm a bit some insignias (the caves are the best, good drop rate, many named).

Then the last event you summon one by one the 6 writ, lvl 42 5 dots, which are a joke in themselves. I am so disappointed that such a weapon can be obtained so easily. There is no point for the interest of the game to do that.

In DT, it was really challenging, more wipe risk, more steps, and a last event where we wiped 4 times before we have set up a strat with the waves of mobs. But a zone where no one go easily, and abondonned at the favor of wardship, VT etc... Even if slayer armor drop in DT.

I am hugely disappointed even if I have this nice weap from Graystone.

Both areas are a bit lacking on the challenge department tbh.
DT is probably the most annoying area - you would actually have to deliberartly pull several mobs to get anything than single, and you needed to camp nameds (with placeholders) a retarded amout of time for each person - not to mention the random drops from mobs which have insane rarity and everyone needs 7 of. There's no challenge in it - it's just big timesink - well, besides managing to keep a group intact and not tear their hair out before you could finish all weapons really.
While graystone lacks something in challenge about the mobs, the quest lines are so much more thought through - there's no pointless timesinks of several hours to get a single update/drop.
DT style in Graystone would have required the blessing to kill each named in every wing, and then summon and kill all the bosses (so everyone would need 135 insignias, not just one person). It's just not fun.
