on test: - Rahz Inkur - NPC’s in Rahz Inkur can now grant abilities via observation. - Nusibe Necroplis - NPC’s in Nusibe Necropolis can now grant abilities via observation. Thanks Sigil for the wild goose chase for RitW3 up til this goes live!

Thanks Sigil for the wild goose chase for RitW3 up til this goes live! Is this specifically for Monks? I have heard of other classes getting new abilities, outside of the scope of the original group of "found" abilities. I wonder because QTM never responded to the question of whether RitW 3 was in the game or not.

All classes that have energy, now have dropped spells ingame that are obtainable. So far I have seen them for necro, ranger, cleric, shaman, and psionist. These are all personal drops that I have seen myself, not heard of. These are not counted twords the "mob learned abilities". However, having many classes learn abilities from tanking (the only way to do it), inside Rhaz and Necropolis, will be very difficult and dangerous. I really wish QTM would confirm/deny if RITW3 is ingame or not.

I sure hope we don't "just" get the third update to your learnable skills..I would like to get something new too... This game is so caster heavy and focused it almost hurts -.-

Thank you very much QTM. it is very much appreciated. Can you please confirm/deny that we are not going to be getting any new dropped abilities? Every other class, has dropped spells, but since we don't have energy, thus no casting, thus no spells, we cannot. Something like this that every monk won't get easily (such as mob learned abilities) would be very nice, even if it was something kinda dumb, would atleast put a smile on our faces.

So far it's just learned abilities and there are not any dropped ones for T1 raid, although plans for T2 raid and beyond have not been ruled out.

QTM,
If possible could you let us know if we should expect a learned ability in the near future besides RItW? You spoke of Monks getting three when the announcement was first made. Can you confirm if we get three skills total (RitW ranks 1-3) or possibly three separate skills that are not available/bugged at this time. Or if the next patch will add something new to look forward to since Nusibe and Rahz Incur mobs will now teach skills upon observation.

I believe he confirmed it awhile back in this thread. Check back, but anyhow its 3 ranks, 1 ability.

What Apoco said. I also mentioned that there are some classes who get three different abilities (without ranks) and some that get three ranks of one ability. I am still puzzled why they made it differently for different classes
