I know many of you dont like my posts.  It is evident by my -17 karma.  Yes I know I am overly passionate about this class.  The reason for this is because I have experience with the development and saw where things were going with us.  I also knew the best way to get the attention we deserve was to be as vocal about it as possible. However today, was the bottom line in nerfs for me so,  I spent all day on SV forums working my ass off to prove a point to not only the devs but the community over there that the monk class is indeed broken.

Id like to think that even though my post were overly passionate, it did play a role in getting us fixed.  Id like to say thank you to the monks that posted in some of the threads I created.  Without the help of all of you I doubt we would be seeing tommorows changes so soon.

Hopefully tommorows changes will bring us in line a little bit now.  I know atleast its a good start.  I am fairly confident that we will finally start to see changes for the good.

While I don't always agree with your posts you are no doubt an asset. Remember the thing with karma is what goes around comes around. You'll get a couple of bow's from me to even it out.

The monk community was heard.

Im not gonna lie, i booted on you a couple time. Im a passionate monk myself. Having monk as an offensive fighter (finally again) was one of the biggest reasons i came over to vanguard.

I apprciate the work on your side to get us 'heard' but as always, the way you go about it is the biggest concern. I have been the OMG this class sucks guy (wardens in eq2 prior to them dumbing everything down) and then im here patiantly waiting a fix, 20 shaman lfg Tongue

We still have a long ways to go imo, but I am almost positive VG's nerf to monks wasn't something on purpose. I think that they wanted to get the rouge finished before they started making changes to other offensive fighters. They seem to be pasionate developers with alot of knowledge in makeing and running MMO's. My favorite part of VG is the constant communication. Between the weekly roundups and the very consistant postings from devs makes it easier to wait imho.

But you deserve a thank you from all of us in working to get things fixed "faster" then I/we would have imagined. Hopefully with some more tweaking we can all enjoy the monk we signed on to be.

Yeah it was 17, i got 2 more in the meantime.  It doesnt really bother me though.  I know i have been too passionate at times and maby even too dramatic.  I have changed this attitude over the last few days (atleast somewhat).  I now apply  sarcasm to things.. which is just meant in fun and humor.

Talk about WoW! I think its time to dust off the monk I set down on saturday. I think I will reactivate my account; just think if they did this say monday, even if they didnt fix anything, but just saying we are working on it I think the whole community would have took a sigh of relief.

Good show Soluss, I think you and I are probably the most passionate and vocal monks out there. I guess I tip the passionate part over you, since I couldnt take it any longer. On the plus side I found a caster class I like (got a level 20 BMG now, fun but squishy.) As long as I can kill a 2 dot even mob consistantly without a massive amount of downtime I would say I am happy.

Still lets get our stances fixed, and the rest of our skills fixed, and a little better itemization for monks then we should be able to compete with other classes in the dps department. I am going to be glad not using 3 skills and being out of endurance... wewt!
