Attention all monks: We have discovered a new exploit that renders monks too overpowered - your autoattack does more damage than your special attacks.  Note that effective immediately all monk autoattacks are considered a ban-able offense.  Please expect us to address this issue in next week's patch to bring monk autoattack down to a reasonable level.  Thank you and have a nice week!

Ps. it's a joke.

I got a laugh out of it.  Hell I have been posting that stuff all along and noone believed me and said I am just a whiner and that I should be thanking them for looking into us. So in light of that... um thank you sigil for fixing us.  Thank you for making our endurance last longer by changing our skills so auto attack is better and we no longer need to use our skills.  They give me bad karma and told me to wait.  Well you waited and what did you get... another nerf.  Ok maby im overboard... give me some more bad karma.

I have played the games these developers have made since 1999.  I know how they work.  They nerf nerf nerf, slight upgrade, nerf.

See the trend yet?

On a side note, it really would not surprise me to see in the next patch notes:

-Due to investigations into the monk class, we have found you are indeed correct.  Your auto attack damage is too high.  We have brought your auto attack back in line to your skill set.

- To compensate for damage loss we have made Crescent Kick IV to 100 - 120 dmg attack. We have also moved this ability to level 42.

I can't take much more of this.  I waited for Vanguard for a long time, expecting it to be the greatest MMO and my game for the next 5+ years.  Im about to count my losses and walk out of the MMO lifestyle.  Paying too much money for only letdowns.  Maybe i'll try Conan, maybe i'll try Huxley, but this paying money for a broken game crap is starting to really get to me.  I've always admired the monk class since EQ1 and always wished i had a monk.  I still would rather play my monk than any other Vanguard class, but its getting to the point where id ont even want to play Vanguard anymore.  I'll give it a few more months perhaps, at least until Conan or Huxley  or Assassin' Creed come out, if there are no monk fixes by then (and i mean REAL fixes) well them im gonna have to take the losses.  I even liked the game better pre patch  idiot2

I know people make mistakes, so lets see how fast they get things back on track.

How do you guys feel Vanguard has done since release?
