Was killing stuff at the elephant graveyard (evendusk quests) and I was up to the last one, killing the lvl 20 demons and wolves. Myself being 19. So there I was killing this wolf and I'm about 60% health. Then I see that I have a new offensive target and its not a mob, its a bloody Order Ranger. So he lands 2 shots on me while I run off to a few more mobs and FD in the middle of em with 10% left. The Ranger bought it and thought I died so he backed up and started to kill the only mob that aggrod him. I waited a bit until I had 50% health and jumped up to have my sweet revenge and the ranger was pretty suprised Smiley Tried to snare me and run but I just storm kicked myself to him and finished the job.

He had 3 lvls on me (lvl 22 that is) and jumped me while fighting. I cant say how much I enjoyed my revenge at that point Wink

Figure I'll throw my 2cp in here.

Was grouped last night killing hobgoblins somewhere in Thestra (I followed a guild mate there).

At one point we get trained 6+ onto our already screwed pull of 4 hobgoblins.  I'm a Dragon Monk, so I hit my defense macro (stone dragon + Dread wind blade FTW).  Pop Dragon's Rage and then Divine Typhoon I.  I already had aggro on the mob we were originally fighting.  The Typhoon got me the aggro on everything else. Yell for the healer to hit me with a full heal and for the group to bail.  I hold aggro with Whirling Storm II while everyone runs.  Once they get ~150m away I feign.

Everyone gets away alive and we don't have to deal with an entire group wipe.

Monk FTW.

That is a nice story mate! Nice weapon too! I was wondering tho, stone dragon only reduces lightning and erm fire? dmg, not normal dmg, I didnt even find it worth using Tongue Guess I'm wrong? Smiley

Unless I've been reading it wrong it also adds a bonus to dodge.  Although I'm not sure exactly what that bonus is right now.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

EDIT:  Stone Dragon also nearly doubles my AC (thus increasing mitigation).  I'm at work now.  But, if someone doesn't chime in throughout the day on the dodge bonus I'll log and check it tonight.

Yeah, guess I was just being hopeful.  The increase to AC is handy though.
