So today was suppose to be my first day back at college. I wake up this morning and walk outside only to find a winter storm had once again randomly hit Texas. All the roads were iced and my new baby (my car) was completely covered. Long story short my first day back to college was cancelled. The funny thing is I was watching the news and they said we'd have another winter storm hit thursday night and friday morning...which is suppose to be my second day of college. It's going to be an interesting year.

Anyone else experiencing snow of any sort lately? Sorry if I sound fascinated by it. I live in Texas, lol

well atm i live in england so absolutely NO snow. but before i used to live in russia an at 1 point over 3 hours we had enough snow to fill the whole community to the second floor with snow... that was insane. if u went out u had to be careful cos in some places u the snow is very dence but in others u could be falling for 5 odd meters before u stop and then getting out is a very unlikely option Sad

See, that sucks, but at the same time, I've never seen that. The most Texas has ever gotten is like half an inch. Then everyone freaks out and cancels school.

I'm in North Carolina and it is supposed to snow pretty good tommarow night.  I'm hoping classes get canceled on Monday, but I find it somewhat doubtful we will get that much snow.

Heh here in California, we've been having 75 degree weather for the past week.  The week before, however, we actually had ice on the road.  But that was just a night-time rare occasion.  Man it'd be nice to have snow days here.  Damn our tropical weather!!  Enjoy it while you can, man.  Snow days FTW!

It's the crystal stuff that remains after we scrape off the ice  from the windshields of our cars in the morning here in Tennessee.

It snows more in cali than it does in texas 0.0

We don't really even get snow. We just get sleet, and not much of it either. It was good today. 65 degrees. Almost perfect =]

Well, here in Atlanta, GA, we dont get snow, we get ICE. A little rain and maybe sleet, then a nice coat of ice to have, you guessed it, Winter Day. Now after living in the UP Michigan, snow is nothing to me, but to the Southerners, man, LOOK OUT. Everything in the store is sold out and no one knows how to drive!
