Noticed something today:
If I crit and have flying kick available, I can't use it on my next target if the target that I critted on dies even though the timer has not counted down before I try to use it on the new target. I managed to use thousand fists on the new target after the first died. I "think" it was not due to lag and for every attempt with flying kick I got the "your target is already dead" message. Could someone maybe do some additional testing to verify it was due to lag or to verify it is indeed a bug?
I have to add that I use a macro that targets the closest mob and puts me in autoattack automatically and I hit it as soon as a mob goes down if we have several (and I don't need to manually pick a healing mob for example). Not sure if macros do create additional delay.

I have never been able to use a finisher on a new mob if the one I had targetted when it opened up dies.

Ok - I guess that is intentionally then and going with "finisher" but I see it as a cutdown on our dps.

Noticed a bug with Gouging Dragon Claw today. Sometimes it will open up, but after lighting up as if it to be used (with global cooldown still refreshing) the refresh timer does not count down from 2 seconds, it hangs up at 2 secondsand gives the cannot use message

Didn't go through all 7 pages, but this has been bugging me...
I just a couple levels ago got monk stances, went Drunken Monk.
I have the little 3 buttons for the stances, and when I click either the Drunken Mastery or the Drunken Sway stance, an icon appears in my active buffs spot and a message displays saying "you have entered XXXX stance." or something more or less like that.
The problem is, with Drunken Fist stance, there is no buff icon that appears, and no message about entering stance. It leaves me wondering if that stance isn't somehow busted, it's as if you are really just leaving stance altogether rather than switching stances.
I mean, literally, you go from Drunken Mastery to Drunken Fist, the Drunken Mastery buff icon leaves and there is no message. You click on Drunken Mastery again and the icon comes back and says you entered that stance.

It has been like that as far as I can remember. The stance however isn't noticable AT ALL.
The bug I'm fed up with is that my Reaction Bar (the one with your finishers and advanced finishers) always screw up after a while. Usually its my flying kick icon that just vanishes and no longer activates in my hotbar either. Or sometimes flying kick will replace my thousand fists icon so i can no longer perform thousand fists.
The ONLY way i know how to solve this is to relog, which sucks in dungeons. And it seems to be worse than ever this weekend.

In general I don't see the reason for not being able to "chain" one icon. LIke it was in EQ2 and pretty much every game that came out within the last year. Instead of just having the "you can't do that yet blah blah if you click one second too early it should be executed automatically once available - specially since many abilities are really time sensitive and lag can always be an issue.

That is how advanced finishers are supposed to work (for DPS anyhow) - we were the only DPS class left on the old system where you needed to crit a finisher to get your advanced finisher going.
It works just that way for each and every of our finishers currently - and should.

Haven't read the entire thread, but here's a few bugs:
Weapon Specialisation and attack skills
- I spent a full hour trying to get my UlakAndClaws specialisation from 124 to 125 (level 25's max, I could be off by 5)
- I also spent an hour each on getting Hand to Hand and Two-Hand Slashing from 249 to 250.
Auto-attack DPS
I looked at my unarmed DPS. Around 130 added up from both hands. Then I equipped a 22 DPS and a 14 DPS weapon, still just about 130 added up. Then I equipped only the 22 DPS one in the main hand. 130 DPS added up. The 22 DPS one in the off-hand only: 130 DPS added up.
Ashen Hand
At level 26, I currently have ranks 1 through 4. All of them list the damage as "250% weapon damage + 2500". I checked for four hours of play and never saw it go above 450. Is the description wrong? Is it getting linked to a wrong rank? Or is the entire line simply bugged?
Jin Surge
For 5 Jin, I've never noticed it do anything.
Dragon Punch (or something similar)
Description says it's supposed to crit the next ability. It doesn't, and it doesn't trigger finishers either.

Monk AoE abilities need to be reworked. They cost too much endurance and do too little damage. Under no circumstances is it ever preferable to use these over single target attacks. When soloing it's better to take down one target as fast as possible to minimize the damage you're taking, instead of trying to kill all targets slowly.
In teams the aggro generated will just get you killed, and even if you were willing to risk it the AoEs don't have enough payoff to be worth it. You'll generate far better sustained DPS for your team by sticking to a single target routine.
Not only are they an inefficient use of your endurance, but they also starve you of jin because you're not getting very much jin for the amount of endurance you're expending.
Currently the only AoE attack worth using is the finisher because it was lowered to 10 endurance, the same as a normal attack, so if you're facing more than one enemy it makes sense to use it.
The solution:
1. First lower the endurance cost to be equal to boundless fist, and up it's damage a bit. This makes it just as efficient to use AoE when you're facing more than one target, but this comes at the cost of Whirling storm having no vulnerabilities to create or exploit.
2. You should get 1 jin for each target hit with an AoE. This would be a risk vs reward thing. You're taking the risk of aggroing many targets, but you're being rewarded for the risk. This would deepen the tactical value of AoEs to be more than just damage, but a way to build up jin.
3. Dragon rakes it's claws should be 15 endurance, 5 less than whirling storm, and it should do more damage; Both to account for it being a cone instead of a full AoE.
That won't make Monks kings of AoE damage because they've only got two attacks, one if you don't go Dragon, and one long recharge finisher... But it will at least make AoEs a valid tactical tool for the Monk to use.

I am 18 drunk monk, and have Flying Kick II and Thousand Fists I that pop up as chains...the Thousand Fists has a longer recharge, but if a chain triggers again sometimes both still light up, even though Thousand Fists isn't available yet, as it will say if I try to click it.
