OK...Perhaps someone with some formula or stats knowledge can help to explain this to me, as Im having difficulty understanding why my Melee Evasion % is reacting this way when Im equipping certain items.

Im trying to maximize this stat, so when I got the chance to choose a cloak as a reward for the first CIS quest last level, I chose a cloak that is +5 Strength and +37 Dodge.

Now, when I equipped the Cloak, it raised my Melee Evasion a whopping .67 points.

But, I also have a Rare Windblade that is +25 Parry, and when I equip this, my Melee Evasion raises 6.43 points.

Can anyone tell me why a +25 Parry item is raising my Melee Evasion more than a +37 Dodge item? Am I forgetting something in the equation here? Should the +37 Dodge item give me more of a Melee Evasion bonus than just .67 points to my added percentage total?

Call me confused by this....because it seemed to be a black and white issue before- but I just cant make sense out of that....

if i am not mistaken one is a percent ie the sword gives 25 percent. the other is a point value ie plus 37 points to dodge

That almost has to be it, but Id like for them to be more clear about that in the pop up or weapon info window.

I seem to be seeing a pattern on all of my weapons.

Admittedly, I'm still low level so I can't comment, but so far this is the stats on the weapons I have.

Swords: +25% Parry chance
Martial Staff: +Critical Chance
Bare Hands - highest raw damage

This has remained true so far, and I've had three different staves and swords.

Also be aware that the cloak that is dodge, has a decent amount more AC on it and is a heavy cloak. I dont know why but we can wear it right now. Possibly going with this cloak will leave you cloakless after a patch.
