Ok, I messed around with it tonight and it seems to work for a solid 30 seconds every time.  It just sucks when someone breaks it b/c of the 30 second cooldown.

Ok, im lvl 22 monk, got this Nerve Strike ability yesterday, and still havent figured out how to use it normaly.

FD -> Nerve Strike is not normal.  I hardly imagine that it supposed to work this way.

As a dragon monk i dont have sneak yet, and if sneak comes on 40+ and mezz on lvl 22, then something is wrong with this design.

I had an idea that it should work with Storm Stride. You teleport from out of combat, hit one of the targets and mezz it. Sounds reasonable. But it does not work like this.

So i think its bugged some way.

it should either work with SS or work in combat.

Or maybe you must be considered "in combat" after you deal first strike, now when mob agroes on you.

This ability is pretty darn useful in my opinion.

If someone besides you is pulling, mez an add before hitting anything else.
If you're pulling, prox pull and mez the add.
If you're already in combat and need to control an add, FD and then mez.

We are not Psi's.  Expect our CC ability to have a few limitations...

If it works like this, i agree.  This will be awesome to have.

Its amazing for splitting mobs as well if you are having trouble splitting them the conventional way.

Example:

Pull 2 mobs than Feign Death when they are close to you, Nerve strike one. Pull the other mob back to your group and then feign death again. You will lose all aggro on the one you nerve striked and he will walk back to his location after the nerve strike wears off rather than coming and attacking you and your group.

I've been using it on 2 pulls by having the tank pull one & I just run up & nerve striking the one the tank's not on.

I'm not sure abt it lasting the full 30 secs tho.  The sorcerers I was working with were having a really bad time with their sleeps wearing off way early.
