Going Raki. I just like the look.  As far as Stats, I think by end game everything will average out. You have enough free points, armor buffs, and other things that by the time you hit 50, You can probably make pretty much the same stats on any class. the only things that will always be different: Looks and racial ability. I don't think I will use the racial ability that much to really make a difference. (could be wrong). But, I know I will always be lloking at the backside of my toon and see his animation. Thats why I'm taking raki. love the funny run and cool moves by a fox/weasel. I can kick them in the shins and bite them in other delicate places.

I plan to go Kojani Human.  I think the theme fits very well with the monk and the jin quests.  Also the racial ability to heal health and endurance saved my butt many many many times while soloing.

The heals are dependant on how much dmg you to do the mob though right?  So say you are out of endurance and your next 5 hits are auto attak you may not heal very much?  im not really debating that im more asking from your experience how much did it heal you for?  Also the kojani heal is not just a 45% heal to health its also a 45% heal to endurance at the same time.  I think over time it probably equals out.  I just like the kojani better as lore wise and look wise it seems a better fit for a monk.  Im sure the orc are a damn good choice for a monk too, it just doesnt fit me that well.

Like say im pulling and i got stunned with a couple adds in a dungeon,  I FD to single one out.  I can use that heal to heal back up in the process.  Same situation if i was flip flopping through a dungeon.  That heal is good any time it is up and not just if im beating on someone.  If you're down to say i dunno 100 hp and you click your ability you may get 1 shotted before your heals start comming from your dmg.  If your at 100 hp and you hit the kojani heal... thats instant.  just a few examples of why i would rather have a no restriction heal (besides timers) as apposed to a reactive type heal that requires me to do dmg to get health back

Launch Day!!!

I started up  my client and it patched. It let me go into the character generation screen without selecting a server. I was extremely disappointed to find out that Half-Elf soft-caps have been changed.

Old Stat adjustments per level: +2 Dex, +1 Vit, +1 Wis
New adjustments per level:  +2 int, +1 Dex, +1 Vit

There went my harmonious race. :\

As always, someone confirm this please. I hope it a a bug and gets patched again. Didn't recognize if anything else had changed. Just letting people know to check their race adjustments in the tool tips of the character selection screen as things may have chanced from beta to launch.
