I'm considering expanding VanguardMonks.com and adding a section for the Disciple class. As of now, there is no community dedicated to them (there are general archetype forums, but nothing specific) and they seem to be an under-played class in Vanguard (possibly due to lack of available information on the class - but mostly because Blood Mages represent a huge percentage of healers...) Have any of you considered playing a Disciple? Would you welcome them to our ranks?

Absolutely! They are very similar to us in many ways and it will give us a chance to rub it in that they only get to FD once every minute

If you are sure they have no comunity site already it would be a good idea I think. While our official VG roles differ, both classes know the true power lies in your fist not some sword

Everyone should have a home. Welcome them. We use the same weapons so we can share a weapon database at least.

Disciple?? sure sounds good to me i just read a little on them actualy thought it was a monk in the screen shot but it was a disciple in a martial arts form?? pretty cool somthing bout hand wraps. anyways were kinda out here on our own so to speak so i think having disciples would be a good addition to our community. i would like to see them have there own forum so they can speak freely and in detail bout there class ect, as not to crowd the two classes together to much.. im starting to like this community more n more

Yes, I would love to welcome Disciples. lol I messed around with one for a bit, and it ended up my main. Felt bad because I originally planned on playing a monk and was looking forward to the community here. I would really love to play the class I love, and still participate here

While id welcome them, i do think they should have their own forum/community. Monks and Disciples may have similar roleplay style to them, yet one is DPS and one is Healer, thats two totally different play styles. So not sure they'd be that compatible in the same forum :p Just my opinion

There is a healer site where I keep up some disciple info when I can, its not an affiliate yet though. www,vanguardhealers.com
Other than that, there's no site that includes Disciples, and I think they are a natural addition to a monk community, as they are quite similar.

I say leave the door open to em. They are monks at heart and need some lovin too. But I also agree that they need a forum just for them, as they are different just as much as they are the same to us!

Definitely! But also allow us to have our separate areas (a monk section to the forums and a disciple section) so that class-specific strategies can be discussed without confusion but also a common area
