I did the Dragon Style Quest before they patched and changed it...do you still start it in the barracks from the monk trainer? or has that changed as well

not sure as i never got to 15 myself.. i got to 14 then went on to do diplomacy and crafting.  However I believe you can go back to your normal trainer now and start it.  I did notice at lvl 14 my normal trainer had the black shield above his head indicating he had a quest for me next level.  I assume it would be that

The same guy starts it, but he has moved out of the baracks in Khal to the foreign quarter. He is under a tent outside the western half of Khal.   He then sends you to talk to the Dragon Style Master on Kojan, he is located in Magi Hold.  He will then give you 2 quests to complete and then you get the aum and the style stances. Worst part of the quest will be getting from Kojan to Khal to talk to Birthrax and then back to Kojan to talk to the Dragon Style Master.

They patched the fixes in on the 22nd and i started and finished the quests on the 23rd right before they shut the server down.  I had probably 2-3 hrs of playing with the dragon style and loved it.

My understanding from Chasak was style switching was purely for beta to allow monk testers the ability to switch and test all styles.

I could be mistaken but I thought i seen a post from a dev that said you would still be able to switch but it would be really really really hard to do so

Hmm, I wonder...  "Betray your home city in EQ2" hard or "EQ monk epic quest" hard?

Yes, though it will be significantly more annoying to do this quest now

Choose... Wisely.
