So i looked in my bank today, the graystone bladed staff now has 10% higher base dmg than T5 crafted staffs. Well overall now it is slightly more damage than a Flawless pariah's power bladed staff of devastation, also it has better attributes and crit/accuracy on it........and you can equip it at lvl 41 You monks that deconed it will be kicking yourselves now  |

That doesn't look right, though. Should the reward of a T4/early T5 quest line really be better than a T5 UR crafted item costing upwards of 1p at the cheapest?

Sadly yes, the intent was to make droped/quest gear better then crafted so people have a reason to adventure and not just broker.
On the same hand, they did go a bit overboard with their dmg on most weapons/items

  Attack with Graystone: 1128-1263 (avg: 1195.5) Attack with Crafted: 1117-1245 (avg: 1181) A big kick in the nuts for us crafters, thankfully handwrap of striking is still the best 1 hander |

The cragwind bladestaff might even have more base damage then the graystone one. I know it is over 80 and I thought it was over 81 when I logged my monk in last night. The graystone staff obvisouly has much better stats still.

Supposedly avair added a new 2hb to apw. He also added a new 2hs for DK. I have no clue if the 2hb is monk usable, but i would assume so since the only other 2hb is caster focus items.

The cragwind weapon might have more DPS, but i'm pretty sure it has lower damage range : it is a faster weapon than the Graystone and the crafted bladed staff, so in the end you'll do less DPS.
I dont have the Graystone yet, is the quest hard ?
Would it be doable with a duo of monk and Disciple 46 ? or would it require more people ?

Don't you mean "disciple" usable? WIlling to bet it will have 20+ vit on it Hell..wouldn't be a surprise if it had healing focus on They should just scrap healing stats on monk/disc weapons, 90% of discs are just wannabe monks anyway Edit: probably not doable like that at 46, possibly if you are very careful, but it will take a very long time. |

Id be really sad... that said i wouldn't be really surprised.
The point of the new dk weapon (they actually added a ton across all levels and in all areas) was to adress their new 2 handed wield prefrence. I just happened to ask the DK working with avair to try to sneak a monk two hander weapon in.
That doesnt mean it IS a monk weapon, for all i know avair could easily have made a 2 handed great hammer for dks.

I believe it is a new legendary that was being reffered to.
It is my guess that it will not actually be dropped in APW though, I'm only guessing here but I think it is going to come from Fengrott. This is solely based on the idea that they added the new DK weapon to Dres so it seems like they would have added it to new mobs rather than chenging APW loot tabels.
I do hope they put one in the game for all of you who preffer 2hander weapons, I completely agree that the option really need to exist as well as atlest 1 more legendary 1hander (prefferably with melee centric stats +STR/DEX/INT/CON in that order)
