Does anyone have the stats and / or pics for the monk celestial ward armour.  Also if anyone has some tips on gaining faction that would be good too.  I started grinding faction all night last night... Did the quest to kill the bloodhowlers x50 and x100 which gave 250, and 500 faction.  But being an orc that only put me up to dynamic faction (2052) full faction(52).

Here's a nice pic of the armor and the stats of each piece posted by Swang on Ten Ton Hammer.

It's even on an orc  Wink

Here's a good little ditty on faction questing and what you need to make the armor.

Can you tell I've been researching it, too?  Smiley

**NOTE:  I'm not sure how up to date the info in these links is or how it's going to change with GU4.  If I find any glaring differences while I'm running thru doing the wardship thang, I'll be sure to post them here.  I'm a dark elf by the way, so I'm facing a similar faction deficit.

Thanks for the info.  My monk is an orc too Smiley

Last night i grinded away at it again... did the mushroom quest once... started working on the forgotten ring  quest (which gives no faction btw) and also picking up tomes and runes from the ruins.  The mushroom quest is good xp but its best to pick them up while doing other things.

One thing i found is that I am not getting 20 faction for the named mobs (at least outside VT), just 2 like normal.

I also discovered there is swords in the ruins you can touch one time for faction too... I dont know if they each have their own set number, but i found the more swords (of fallen soldiers) i touched the more faction they would give...So i got 20 faction for the first 3 or so , 40 faction for the next two and then 80 faction for the last one... I am still looking for more swords Smiley  I also discovered a very nice yellow martial sword that gives 15% parry.

I found another quest (which I have yet to complete) from a guy towards the southwest of the moon town.  It is to slay 30x alive wolfs and 15x spirit wolves.. I will let you know if it gives any faction when i finish.

I also received new quests at about 1000 faction and 2000 faction from both the ranger town in the swamp and the main town.

Its been taking me about 3.5 hours to get 2k faction.

ok the guy is beside a tree SW of the wardship of the sleeping moon loc -5240, 5795, 9761 (-23, 25) and the quest is to kill 30 live wolves and 15 spirit wolves... this gave 250 faction but can be done while killing the bloodhowlers... its a one time only quest.

Okay I know this subject has been driven into the ground, but seeing that I have not played the game in nearly a year I figured maybe some things have changed.

I am a level 37 Monk right now and have just begun the Celestial Ward quests.  My faction is about 600 or so atm.  I guess I did quests last year and don't remember.  Because right now there are NO MORE QUESTS available to me in the Wardship of Sleeping Moon.

Where does one go next, after Wardship, to continue and raise faction?

And where do the Armor quests begin... in Wardship or somewhere else?

And finally, I swear, the main reason I am doing this is for the Throwing weapon reward.  Is all the time and grind really even worth it considering I am 37 now?

The shuriken quest is a lot easier to do at lvl 50, but you could do it at 37 with help from a group.  The main thing is you need to get 12k full faction to start it.  The best way to do this is to do the mushroom collection quest in the Ruins of Vol Tuniel chunk.  You get the quest from the ranger camp in the southern portion of the chunk and you run around collecting 30 mushrooms at a time from all over the chunk.

Keep all quest armor pieces that drop for you because you can turn those in for faction, pre-upgrade, or motes while you do the upgrade quest (save em for the motes, 20 pieces should do).
