Is this push stance skill working as intended? I have to switch to crane and then spam the thing 5,6, 7 or even as much as 10-11+ times before i see a result. This is while the rog / dsc / rng in the raid are all working on removing the stance as well. This much work to remove it seems overdone. I don't think the strip enchantment, which is kind of equivalent, is as time consuming as stripping the stance.

Yeah thats intended, however i doubt the others are working as hard as you lol.   I know we personally use 2 monks, 2 rogues, and a disciple to push stance and it takes 5 of us about 3-4 times each.

Chances are your seeing the stance still up long after its gone.  The fix in gu4 should make the ui lag less so youll see exactly when its gone.

I've personally made a macro to resolve the lag... as such:

/targetoffensive clear
/assist %td

If you hit this after every two attempts (or after every single one if you have a lot of rangers/monks/disciples in the raid), you can cut down stance times and wasted DPS by a lot.

That's a damn good idea.  I've been simply resorting to getting reports from people watching their damageoutput to get a "true" indicator of when stance is down and up.

Prolly suggest to those on disenchant duty to build the same maccro in for that too.  Smiley

This actually should be fixed in game update 4, weve talked to devs about it a lot during raid testing.  Surprisingly they werent even aware of it till we told them.

Thanks for the responses and the help with the macro too. Just for the record I switched to drunken from harmonius a few weeks ago and now stances are being pushed within 3 tries almost always. Don't know if it was/is a style related issue or if they have indeed fixed something.
Cheers

Maybe you can "crit" on a pushing stance and it has more effect than a "normal" stance push ?
Maybe there is a hiden value a pushing stance damage that has to be done ?

Monks stance push is far inferior to that of a rangers... 6 pushing hands is about equivalent to that of 2 ranger stance pushes and our stance costs double the endurance, ALTHOUGH I have never encountered a stance that took 10 pushes to drop. I believe the reason this occured was not due to our stance push being bugged but rather the buff icons on mobs being extremly delayed... Alot of the time the buff is on the mob long before the icon actually pops up and the buff drops long before the icon drops on your target buffs window.

This has been a bug for awhile now and explains why you may think its taking 4 classes 10+ stance pushes to get rid of it.

PS: this is a bug for all buffs that mobs throw on them selves ( enchantments , stances, etc... )

It was supposed to get fixed in GU4.  The lag delay of buffs on a mob.   Developers know about it and as far as i cant tell arent sure how to fix the issue
