Its actually a 45s timer. It grants the conduct skill, same as a bloodmages conductive symbiote. I regularly hunt with a bard friend who has this mask and its pains me greatly that we can't use it as well or have nothing similar to it available.

Monk Discussion / Monk General / Crescent Kick endurance increase intended or bug?
|

My monk (lvl 46) was copied over to test center yesterday and I've found that the endurance cost of crescent kick has been increased drastically from 10 on live to 22 on test center.
As a harmonius that means 32 endurance if you want the chance of the best possible damage on a finisher opened with crescent kick!! Basically renders the ability unusable in the tiger stance.
So i hope this is a bug and will be addressed before the changes are pushed to live, if its not its gonna cripple us I think.

Monk Discussion / Monk Gear & Equipment / Re: What monk stuff would you like to see in APW???

Thats not raid gear. Wayyy back a bad patch put masterwork crystals into the loot tables and a few peices of 'masterwork' were crafted and found there way onto curse.
The crafted items from APW require a looted recipe, looted components, looted resources from APW bosses and an item from the final boss to activate an item after its been crafted.
I'm certain they will be much different to the odd peice of 'masterwork' that was crafted from regular recipes in a breif glitch after a buggy patch.

Maybe my perspective is slightly different as a PVP monk, but for me it has to be Shuriken, Martial sword, Handwraps and Bladed Staff. I can't see any reason to use a martial staff other than that they're cheap.

Whats the advantage of maxxing both martial staff and bladed staff? Unless I'm missing something these seems as similar as handwraps/knuckles and claws.
I was thinking in terms of maxing handwraps, martial sword and bladed staff. I find a martial sword coupled with crane stance is awesome defensively.
