I Dumped all Dex in favor of Int some weeks ago and never looked back, as a harmony Monk Raid Buffed were above the Crit cap anyways.
I lost a little evasion and lost some ranged dps, however the gains from Secrets procing higher easy outweighs that.

i think the new Claws & knuckles from APW would be comparable in dps to the "powered bladestaff of devastation"
to me Its looking more and more like the Monk Ubar 2h weapon coming from the Dragon..

More a less the same as rhiadd, tho i dont think debuffs are drawing much agro at all. Im getting debuffs on before the call to attack. throw in some FD before going for it. then with quickening jolt with celerity buff we can really lay down some serious damage! and can do so without taking agro. (poor rangers) Its hard to say for sure with parsers being borked. But i wouldn't mind betting that were No 1 DPS on the raid.

Be sure the parser is smart enough to separate out the secret damage from the normal damage. Your crit rate for the secrets is probably not your full melee crit rate, and you get 1 secret attack for every normal attack. If you're at 65% crit for the normal attacks and 19% crit rate for the secrets, then you'd pick a 42% average crit rate.
I'm using a similar setup to you except with less crit gear, and definitely notice a difference in the rate at which my finishing attacks light up when in tiger stance compared to crane stance.
Thanks for the heads rhiadd, what your saying is making sense, i guess the parse is working much like all he other ones i have seen (not so good)

Some others from our raid: -
Monk 42% Warrior 38% Necro 9% Disciple 48% Rogue 43% BM 41% DK 23% Cleric 24%
above is taken as average % from both parses although apart from Monk all results are within + or - 1

Hi Fellow Moks
Recently one of our guild members Parsed a couple of raids to keep tabs on dps heals mob attack damage etc.
Something very odd has showed up, its showing that in Both raids My crit rate was Exactly 42% Through out the pulling and fighting im more a less constantly hot key swapping gear and weapons, even so the Crit rate on Both raids is still showing the Same 42% even after 6000 hits or so
Im Harmony Monk and use Legendary Tiger stance 30% Ulak and hand wraps 7.5% Dexterity approx 13% Gear 26.27% Total = 76.77%
I know Fujitsu recently mentioned the Crit Cap was around 65% ish but now none of this is adding up, and feel something has quite recently been changed Can any shed some light on this?
Thank you

Yeah i hear what ya saying, Fujitsu and your quite right this is an entry Mob.
I can tell you all now from what i have Seen of it so far The Place is Massive and i mean HUGE and its little wonder it took so long to finish it.
I can see this being a good 4-6 Months raiding to fully kit a raid out with the new Armour sets, and thats with a for a hard core guild! Raiding 5-6 Nights a week.

Looks good to me, ignore dps, the numbers 163-180 are the ones which matter. Aside from that 1.84 damage rating is also adding to proc damage as well as melee damage so yeah i wouldn't grumble!

Monk Discussion / Monk General / Re: Pulling in APW

Monks are no defo the kings of pulling on raids. Most stuff is already here, but ill elaborate some.
Two Monks work best, Although it is more than feasible to work with just 1 Monk mostly because if it goes wrong you can get each other out of trouble if you should die in an ugly spot. You need to work closely with you buddy Monk puller and macro up FD with a tell to the fellow Monk so you know when one another is using FD !, Its not so good to try this with a Necro because their FD is Very unreliable.!
Equip a Parry Sword and any items which add HP, Dodge, Parry, constitution and FD, Buffed over 8k HP is pretty good but 9K plus is better as it means you can normally survive a couple of Hits from some of the tougher Mobs without dropping.
Center is your Friend, I have made my way to recover a raid from Vicus through a fully spawned Dungeon, Using Center alone ! and its also The important spell to use when pulling.
For mezable trash pull 2 or more mobs, one Monk tags whilst using center, the other Monk stands by closest to the raid party, all agro is on the centered Monk, as the mobs run by cast Nerve strike, then FD, after puller Monk uses FD as well all mobs return to spawn point aside for the nerve striked mob. MT tags then raid kills.
Caster Mobs even singles can be a bugger as they will stand at range and pop of nukes one after the other, so use alcoves, walls, pillers, corners or any features which will hide you from the line of sight, this will bring the caster mob to the raid.
Another technique is for 1 Monk to center and tag a group whist the 2nd Monk tags one of the group and pulls it far away towards the raid. Centered Monk uses FD when pulling monk is far enough away.
A 3rd option required you to run the mobs until they give up the chance and return to their spawn point, during this stage a single can be pulled although this is a little dirty, and not something we like to use.
Hope this helps
