Where do you get the bracer of the ravager?

http://vg.curse.com/database/items/details/1349397/

Drops from Khor In RI, his one of the named`s which spawned by using Collected coins & Marks. He also Drops Pauldrons of the Ravager, both are very nice pre APW amours.

I've done with my monk the Abom/Pharao/Dog part of the quest, off to OT now.
The thing is that the Abomination fight is VERY hard.
I mean without a raid geared tank, and overly buffed, most tanks would be 2 or 3 shotted byt the abomination.
Also, some classes have a much harder times on this fight.
I tried to do it with my girl friend's disciple (and by the way, was grouped with Swang ^^) it was impossible to chain heal with end heals.

Monks are imho one of the most usefull class on this fight : they can dps and FD to clear aggro, can stance push, and also since the abom does ae hits you can parry a lot and then counter with the -50% dps debuff witch will help a lot.

Hello ^^

Thats the point about this quest, its none to easy, and yea you will need a APW geared Tank. Monks can help a lot, but as a whole all of the group needs to be on the ball.

Aside from this, I can confirm that you wont see any flocks of griffon's any time soon.

We got server 1st Griffons over 1 week ago now from a joint co-operation with Xanadu, basically stuck together dream teams for every part of the quest, and pooled from non raid days members when we needed to.

Angnus (Xanadu`s Leader) is properly the Best Equipt/Skilled Tank on Halgar!  Fully kitted with APW gear, even so on more than one occasion when Boss was 1 or 2% he Died. In Fact we are all APW decked out, I cant tell you how Hard this quest is in its current form!

It is not for the feint Hearted and yes the only decent reward is the griffin, the quested amour and weapons sucks.

Hats off to Bots for getting this done so fast.

I sometimes use it when the tank 1st engages a raid mob, as i normally I will attack just after MT to get some early debuffs on.

Will also use Frost debuff during this time too.the first few seconds of an unbuffed encounter can be risky for any tank,  this technique can give the edge on harder encounters.

I think Fujitsu would make a good monk lead if quinn is truely MIA

I wholly agree, this has to change, we have not Monk lead, and seems were getting burned as a result.

If Fujitsu wants to step up to lead even as a temporary measure think 99% of the people here would have not problem in backing you.

With QTM away we don't seem to be getting much Love

not that good i know,  due to the % damage  it offers a little more damage to main and off hand than hand wrap of striking, but without the vendetta proc.

Monks are good at getting up a wiped Raid!

I have made it into the deepest places of a fully spawned dungeon using Find the Center with My Harmony Monk!
