Yea, its not godlike to burst 1-3 players in PvP in first 2 second...

Think about it a bit.
Load up some Jin, burst 4 times Ashen Hand, burst good 5-6 attacks until endurance is empty, than burst again good 4 Ashend Hands from new jins.
That would me about 14 attacks until you are out of endu/jins - with good macro in 2-3 seconds
Thats not overpowered ? What is it than? Death Touch for monk?
Without cooldown you will be instant killing people in PvP, instant killing 2 dots even 3 dots would go down fast as hell. You will be taking maybe 1 hit from those mobs. Imagine this grinding.
Even a secret with this effect would be to powerfull, even with a 1 hour reuse timer. Be able to kill in pvp someone instant is to powerfull.

Imagine that you can, without GC on all styles, unleash nearly infinite damage. I mean not a bit or much more, you will be able to outdamage whole groups, even more! Imagine Boundless Fist and Ashen Hand without GC (they allready dont have reuse timer), one to pump up the Jin, one to spend it AND without GC you can click them both together, even 3 styles or 4 together - depend how much fingers you use to play  And sorry, endurance is not a limitation for monks - in 50ish with endu regen buffs, and decent endu regen gear and Aum Ti up for less Endu costs you will be still able to style near without brake even without GC (using Jin attacks between regen ticks) Any style that have no GC, must have reuse timer or be a coutnerattack cause otherwise it will be a I-WIN button , no matter how much damage it do as long is it stays fine with endu costs (that all our standard styles do). Never played EQ2 - i know EQ1 - so cant imagine how it worked there without GC and with infinite energy/endurance. Combine Crascent Kick or Stinging Backfist (two atacks without GC for monk) with other styles and you will get your burst damage feeling when you see tons of numbers raising over mobs head - specialy with hand2hand weapons an a proc secrets on ;-) At the end i agree with you , we dont have not any "special way" like other offensive fighters have. It would be nice to have something that we are uniqe at - its hard for devs to make it but maybe one day we are uniqe at something else than FD without reuse timer

You can max 4 weapon skills at 50, and have a 5th one near close but still not max.
Imho are those 4 important one
- Handwraps (like Fujitsu said, best H2H weapons ingame - playermade) - Bladed staff (best twohands, most big quest rewards are bladed staff instead of martial) - Martial staff (most in broker, cause good and cheap player made - you would use them more at lowlvl) - Martial Sword (only if you plan to tank with it, you will need this 10% more damage from max skill for holding agro, unless you are drunken monk)
My fifth near max is Shuriken , you can swap it with martial sword so do more damage with shuris - not bad when soloing, pulls down mob a bit.
Knuckles are not worth it, maybe one or two good on way to lvl50 (done most weapon quest). Ulak and Claws are ok, but there would be all time better player made handwraps in broker.

You are absolutly right. At every edge you see unemployed programers, bet there are tons that want to work at weekend.
We pay for playing also on weekend, so we want suport at weekend to - patches/working in background, GMs ingame in foreground.

Well im sure too that weaknesses are ading damage - thats not the point here. Also im prety sure that is not 100% damage of first hit - i can only talk about the boundles/six dragon combo. Same as you dont hit 3-6 times with T.Fist and Cele for this huge damage - same as rarngers dont hit 6-9 times with windsong for displayed damage. I belive its a display of complete damage you done - just buged display that shows 6 times the "end" damage.
I will these days/next week also do a test on greys, parsing damage to % hitpoints los on them.
Its just interesting to have combat log show the right numbers, not to push up the damage, weakness exploit is ok how it is, for 10% or 100% the style damage.

I got the exploits displayed also - but i dont see any changes in mobs hitpoints bar. Maybe its the same display bug as this from Celerity - you got quad-six strikes displayed but its just only one hit.
I should regnorize on a 2dot mob if i hit him with 2K or with 4K - ther e should be visual difference, specialy when you got % display from UI on mobs hitpoints bar.

the new FD changes u speak of ? is the fd change based on the monk abilty or fd in general like necro's fd spell? and whoever else gets fd?
Skill dont changes at all, stays the same, also same classes. What changes is the act how mobs react on FD - spliting mobs with FD will change, perceptin check and so on...

First of all, let rangers cry - i love to see them cry  Totaly agree to Hattori in case of "make this game more challenge". It is far to easy and its going to be even easyer on every patch. Sure that every class should be able to solo nice, but not 4dot, even not 3dot without downtime. Look at games like WoW, they endet up full of solo-playing-retards cause you dont need anyone else for doing "normal" stuff. I played it round 2 years, i know what im talking about. Let the GU3 come, we cant change nothing now, let see how is the "new FD", how are the "new Mobs", the "new content" and and and, so we can talk again  Me for my part love the changes in FD, sounds like old EQ. Lul is the most anoying spell ever - kills any challenge of normal Dungeons....

Reading about Drunken makes me want to know more aobut it. Never tested Drunken. Can you please just describe one typical fight as drunken Fujitsu? Solo/tanking, what counters are those with high damage shield, reuse timer and so. At least there is same damage bonus as a dragon (near, just 2% less), let the dragon proc beside - not really dps garant, and 5% crit you can up on gear at least. Endurance costs are the same - no penaltys, and if defense is bigger - maybe better choice for solo monks.
Sounds verry interesting

Yes, sometimer when you Fd, you lay there and still in fight cause FD failed, but mobs are standing next to you and DONT beat you - it is bug, you are in fight but somehow FD and noone beats you. In future those mobs next to you will kick ya in the face when you lay down there

Prety same as Khana above. Im Dragon Monk lvl44. Only thing is, i dont switch to two hander cause DoT dont raises from it - didnt realize any change - even with flawless crafted weapons, maybe im wrong? Also RitW is great to start at begin from fight, so you in advantage.
Allways start with Gouging/Sundering finisher, its much higher damage as Thousand Fist finisher combo if DoT lands nice (mostly 2,5K/tick and 4 ticks there are)
Dragon monk solo is two-way-life:
1. Dish out fast as you can, more then a mob - so he dies faster than you. Berserk like - use all you got. 2. Cover yourself behind martial sword, stone stance, swaying step and feel like a whimp when you see your damage but kill save ;-)
My deal is to have allways about 80 or more eggs in backpack and use after every (hard) fight my macro:
/useitem "Hard xxxxx Egg" /cast "Meditation" /combatformset "Dragon Stance"
I tryed Harmonius out at lvl 43, played whole day, half solo half in Graystone with my group. Hands down, Harmonius solos like hell, after 43lvl dragon you feel like a mega-tank ;-) Only bad thing about Harmonius is, that Dragon is 500% more fun in group imho. You dish out hell damage with bard and shamy/cleric buffs, a lot more than Harmo, cause of storm stance and tons more endurance. Huge Crit rate from Harmo is not that better in group, cause with handwraps im moving about 30% crit groupbuffed. I tested it with Flawless handwraps of striking , also with flawless martial staff/graystone staff. The Crits are much higher and you can spam styles without even sec break.
Its for me no option, i beter suck solo and rock (imho!!) in group :-)
