This lockout thing happened to me 3 times in RI last night. Group was Monk, Warrior, Necro, Cleric, Pally & Psi. I had to camp out and back in each time it happend.
It actually highlighted 2 of my finishing moves {1000 fists, and the kick one } the rest of them remained greyed out, and all were unusable. The only abilities that I found that I could do were 3 and I don't know their names, but it was the one that lowers the mobs mitigation { I could spam this }, the one that give you a 20% extra change to crit on your next attack { refresh time on this one is long }, & the one that auto crits { again like a 5 minute refresh }.
When I tried to use any other attack it told me something about my refresh timer not being up for that ability.

Hey Fujitsu,
You look like your suggesting something almost symetrical in the improvement and detriments of the 3 monk types, but why do you go away from this in your recommendations on the Dodge/Parry ? If you wanted to make this consistant then it should be something like this :
Dragon 4% dodge/parry, 50% spell mit vs 2/6 elements (fire and ice rune already) Harmonious 8% dodge/parry, 50% spell mit vs 4/6 elements Drunken 12% dodge/parry , 50% spell mit vs 6/6

Monk Discussion / Monk General / Re: what do we want with pushing hands?

I would be for it being improved, but not removed. There are some bosses in APW where you simply must remove them from their stance. Enraged X-83 I believe will be the first one you run into, and I believe that his stance gives him a 100% mitigation ability. He will probably be the second real boss that you encounter in APW.
Yes cripple for Ranger is so much better then Pushing Hands, but you definetely want the ability to remove stances available to more then on class. So instead of going for removal we should go for improvement.

Changed to Harm at 42, and must say that survivability went way up. Damage appears about the same. Dragon might have a slight edge at that level on damage, but not much if so, and for sure it's not worth the defensive penalties that they take.

Hey All,
I'm a relatively new monk and I've noticed that I'm missing an ability mainly RiTW { the whole line }. I'm 33rd level as of last night and believe that this will allow me to learn the first skill in this line and getting close to the second.
Now I've done a few searches on this web for this information, but it has proven to be somewhat confusing to find at least in a compact one post format. I think I've found 1 and 3 of the ability in posts but I'm not even sure of that because of resent changes to when you learn the abilities so I'm not sure if my finds were out of date.
What I would like to know is what mobs in what areas you learn each of the RiTW skills from.
Thanks in advance
