I'm not complaining, at least they are starting to look at us..just one of many things that I'm sure will be fixed soon. Just give SOE a chance guys, they areworking on a lot all at one time and while I can't believe that the last patch had so much to do with bards, I'm sure they will be doing the same with all classes. We have all benn VERY patient throughout this entire game, and we just need to hold out a lil longer.
Kepp your heads up guys, I know QTM is doing the best he can and I thank him for it. Our time will come!

It used to be that it did stack with everything if you put it on then chunked across a zoneline as you would keep the buff and you would lose the visual of the actual panther form. Now it doesn't do anything at all. Sony fixed it and while I haven't messed with it personally myself, the last patch apparently caused it to do nothing but make you a panther..no more run speed.

The arena is in Seawatch Coast, just go to khal and port to Strandon Port and you will see it as you get off the docks.
Cragwind is somewhere near CIS I believe, heven't been there in a while so I can't gaurantee it.
Celestine Ward is on Thestra, I'm guessing you haven't yet activated the riftway so until you do the fastest way there would be to port to New Targanor then to boat all the way to Vol tuniel and head North. There are alson paths you can take straigh out of NT on your horse so either way works. Vol Tuniel has a riftway you can activate and then be able to go there from any of the 2nd network riftways.

I can't really say there is any "must have" gear out there at all. I can say that the Afrit weapon quest may e worth doing, I am on the last part of it so I can't really tell you what the finishing podut is like, but it looks to be pretty good. With today's patch it looks like the gorgalok armor might be worth it, but that is just one more faction grind that I might be too lazy to do...we'll see when I get a chance to check stats and such.

While Drane's armor is good, don't get me wrong...I went through the painful faction grind in Celestine Ward for 12 levels to not only get the faction but ALL of the pieces of my gear. I would personally recommend doing the Arena in Qualia and getting gear that way till you hit 50 and can get your gear from Rahz Inkur.
I wore the Drane's armor up to that point so don't get me wrong it is good, but it is such a pain I wish I would have skipped it. The only thing I may recommend there would be to get max faction (maybe get a sorc and healer buddy to team up and aoe the bloodhowlers) and get the shurikens. However, you don't really need to upgrade them either, they give a lil more range than any other shuriken out there, but the damage is still busted and has been since beta. It reads it should be doing 1469-1469 dmg, but they really only do about 500 avg on a mob right now. Given if you get a legendary hit it does good damage, its just not really worth the grind.
If you have questions about the CW info, I'll be glad to help, but like I said, I recommend elsewhere. It is really just a long grind for items that are easily replaced or that you can even get comprable drops rather quickly.

I have had the same problem, yet worse...I logged in inside of rahz due to my game freezing up the night before and I always immediately FD as soon as I log in...I had a Flarehound attatched to me no matter how I tried to fix it for a HALF HOUR...that was just rediculous..he followed me all the way from the west entrance area aroud the entire palace.
As far as Azchek The Templar or however you spell his name, my tip: Collect bags from whatever mobs you can and go get the serum from afrit that you can mez mobs with. He is generally a 3 pull but this is how it works, you want to serum an add like on of his gaurds or whatever, pull the other 2 mobs far far away from that add and close to your group. Then you need to FD FIRST, and as the templar and his non mezzed add starts walking back, your group pulls them out...be sure that when you FD, the add you mezzed no longer is on your aggro meter. What this means is your group now only has 2 mobs to worry about instead of 3 and the mezzed mob will never come to your group unless you are within normal aggro range when he becomes unmezzed. Once you have pnly the 2 other mobs, templar and his add, you have 2 options:
A-be sure everyone in your group has serums and predetermine an order for who is mezzing him, due to the refresh, your just need to go in an order and makes sure everyone knows who is mezzing when and don't hit the mob or well, you should know lol. and just keep him mezzed until templar is dead then kill him.
B-Have a ranger/bard/monk off tank the add while your mt is tanking templar. DPS the add first as he is easier and you have your weak tank on him. Paladins are great for this as they can tank the templar and keep themselves healed for the short time you need for the add to die. Some prefer having the ranger/bard/monk off tanking the templar instead due to them not really taking any damage since they do nothing but parry or dodge till te add is dead and its easier for a tank to hold aggro when the rest of the group is attacking rather than the person not attacking but only spamming parry or dodge.
That is a method that has never failed me. It works rather well, that is when all the group members understand the plan and don't act too early. Be sure when you are done with mezzing and fd'ing that no one on your group has aggro on that mob and you wont have to worry about it. If someone does, they responded too early and you can either evac and try again, try it, get a t least one mob dead before the group dies and the monk just fd and rez after or some groups can just handle all 3...just a lil tip to help you out is all.

I have never seen it work, nor do I get any kind of melee haste added as far as I know, I know this has been a problem before, I don't know if it has been fixed or not...it's been on other forums here about it not doing anything and I haven't tested it in a while cause I don't like using that much jin just to test something atm when I'm trying to farm things and don't really have much steady play time this week having my twins. Like I said, it could have been fixed but until recently, it still hasn't been.

first of all, aum kor shows the buffs butdoes nothing for us till its fixed, it will eat your 10 jin and that is all...I recommend using a different one until it does get fixed. And last time I used it I remember it not having the spell haste anymore, its just melee haste and refresh haste, could be wrong though.
second, Sun Dragon's Corona is just that, a fire resistance/dmg buff. It lasts for ten minutes, increases your fire resistance, and does a il bit of fire dmg to those who hit you or attack or something rather, not sure what the instance is on that as I haven't researched. As far as it not really increasing at level 50, I believe that is a bug, again could be wrong but thats what Im guessing

It's not just a few classes that can solo the 53 6dot mobs, I have seen all of them do it, bards, rogues, rangers, shamans, blood mages, sorcs...with a lil difficulty due to mana, but they just need to use their gather energy and major energy shard, paladins, warriors, Dread Knights, Clerics, Necros, I think the only classes I missed were psi, disc, and monks...but I have witnessesd all of the others.
Sorry about not paragraphing, it's just me venting, and when I vent, it's lucky you get multiple sentences..lol
And trust me, I have been taking a deep breath and counting to ten since release. We used to be good in beta...what happened?
As far as the dragon stance, I see no increse in my crit rate, I only see my gear increasing it...my crit chance remains the same. EIther way, when it was the extra lightning proc, it made sense to me. STORM dragin stance, should make it a storm..aka lightning, now I hardly ever do lightning dmg cause boobs only a small chance, and I think it should be renamed if it isn't based on something storm like anymore. Ehh whatever..I have given up on thinking my class is ever going to compare even with a ranger or a rogue.
At least give us a dropped spell and a different learned ability other than a lousy dodge with a 2 mon refresh.
I would also love to see iron skin have either a reduction in refresh or a increase of duration, 10 min refresh for a 10s or so buff seems a lil mch to me.
I suppose I will stop posting on this now.
sorry for all the trouble, just a lil tired of always venting to my bf and then realizing he can't do anything about it.

Agreed, but even in pve, we still lack in multiple areas. Personally, I wouldn't put a monk in any group unless the only other choice is a disciple. And our soloing abilities justare horrible. It's fine up till you get to about 30ish or so, then every other class can just kill through mobs like its nothing while I sit there resting after mob one. That is, if mob ione doesnt kill me. I love how every other class in the game can solo named 53 6 dot mobs but we cant. And I absolutely love how my Celestine Ward legendary shurikens haven't had the proper dmg since beta, meaning they are supposed to do 1469-1469 dmg, before the last patch WITH my storm dragon stance, they were hitting for around 700-800 pve, after patch, 400-500. I could probably buy the ones from the vendor and get better results, but it really upsets me that the bows, and shields, and focus items from there work just fine, but I go and work my butt off, spending 12 levels there to get my full set of gear, and the heroic shurikens, then come back in my 40's to get them upgraded and spend like 5g on the sar candle I needed cause I couldnt stand farming for them anymore..plus in order to farm, i would actually need a group cause monks still have issues soloing those guys in thel even at level 48, and to get no return for my work except the fact that my shurikens are free and they give me a +50 to fire absorption buff. woot! I dunno, it just seems like monks are really neglected and I can't stand it. Sorcs got a huge buff last patch..I saw no need for it and my bf plays a 50 sorc. Oh ya, and half our abilities dont work anyways so i feel like i am just pushing my macro of the few abilities that do work over and over again..im a buttion pusher for a class that doesnt work. Other classes need to farm for bags/cards in Rhaz Inkur, great they can solo all the mobs there...me..I have to scrounge up a group that doesnt wanna do it in the first place, then gets to share all of the bags...I dunno it just seems rediculous that when it looksl ike we just got a huge buff ased on what the notes say, you go and test it and it seems more like a nerf. I really miss the old version of storm dragon stance by the way, I did more dmg..but then again the crit chance from ours isnt working atm either. Along with the AUm we get at 50 doing absolutely nthing but eating up 10 jin, and our stinging backfist wasting endurance and using our world refresh, and whatever else, I have my kids right now so I dan't really have time to go into it all, but these are merely examples

OK, so I also "started" learning RITW3 last night...actually it wasmore the afternoon on the flare maidens. I received one update on that mob, tanking every maiden I saw from that point on, I did not recieve another update. I also logged off and back on later on at night, tried again, still no update or ability. I dunno, I am not really all that excited about another upgrade to RITW...why do all the other classes get DIFFERENT learned abilities, and we get the back end of the deal with a DODGE...3 versions of the same one...for example, sorcs get amd destruction, amp celerity, and some group buff, and I think one other thing but I dont remember, Bards get Fox over takes the hare 1,2,3, and a different ability that is learned in rhaz as well, a defensive one. I, being one of the last 2 level 50 monks on Tharridon, the PVP FFA server, am just really tired of playing the waiting game. Being as I was the 3rd to 50, now the first 2 quit, and there is one other level 50 monk on the server, the closest to us is like 40, 42 ish...I am really upset with the way our class is going right now. It seems to me we get pushed away and no one bothers to care about us. Well, all hat does is lose players. I love vanguard, but unless the monks get a good fix soon, I may just wanna reroll or play a different game...but that's just it...I worked hard to get to 50 and I dont wanna roll another toon to 50. I have twin one year olds so my playtime can be sparsed sometimes, but this is just getting rediculous. I found a dropped disciple spell yesterday and got oh so upset.The disciples dont even play anymore really cause their class is worse than ours, but I would say we are the next to worse one. ESPECIALLY PVP. Pve, we have a chance but we are not needed in any group, I have found many would much rather have a rogue...especially now that we are all 50 and dont really care if we die, we can just summon up and retry. But there is nothing special we add to the group. PVP wise, I can't win a fight 1 v 1 unless its a rogue or a ranger that i happen to get the jump on, I used to have a chance against sorcs and druids if I got the jump, but not anymore. Fact is, EVERY OTHER CLASS HAS A SNARE OR A ROOT AND SOME FORM OF BURST DMG. If we had that, we would be fine and I would stop complaining, but we don't therefor, the game just isnt fun for me anymore. I do my few armor quests Im working on atm, but if PVP comes up, I may as well lay down and die. Better yet, FD and pray they dont kill me...wait, no thats an ability that is useless in pvp...what was I thinking??
I understand that QTM doesnt play on a pvp server, so he doesnt really know what I am going through atm, but I would be glad to talk to you about how our class performs and what could really be useful for us to use without becoming OP like most other classes can be considered.
Sorry this turned out to be more of a complaint than anything, I just wanted to tell you all about the RITW3, but I just started typing and couldn't stop. I'm just really getting sick of this.
