The new targetting by line of sight is nice... and i loved the improved performance.. Can i get a but here?
But... i'm losing sight of my defensive target often, yet it remains onscreen ... it's only after i try making use of it do i notice that it's not updating and im currently not carrying a target.
examples : trying to /assist a target thats no longer my target, trying to heal said target with racial heal, rescues etc..
But the majority of the times, it's still showing the poor dead bastard as my defensive target... /group sorry mate, oops

AE attacks are worthless for Dragon, Period
Why would the most fragile melee class in the game want to draw aggro to themselves from multiple directions?
If i'm remembering right, harmonious isn't supposed to be a high dps class. From various monks i've spoken with, harmonious seems to be the only one that's currently doing what it's supposed to. Unless you count the currently bugged rescues keeping Drunken in the running. Doesn't seem right that to work as intended, they have to be bugged. Dragon meanwhile is still a flop. Trying hard to hang in there and not switch to harmonious as most monks have... so far now, i'll just continue to feign death and wait for things to be set right. Course, if i were patient... i'd not be playing a monk ;p

Solo? Pick another class.. If set on solo'ing a monk, avoid Dragon Honestly, don't play the Monk with visions of mowing down badguys before they can hit back.. and expect to hit a cap on how far you can get solo. I'd very seriously suggest you try another class for solo. Likely a caster type. That's what Sony preferences, casters... the rest is afterthought to keep casters alive in heavy content areas.

So perfectly done, huge huge applause I came to these games in '99, because i wasn't able to play pen&paper games anymore. I've so beyond missed the diversity that i found in so many of the titles i loved. And being able to customize my char's role and combat styles is frontmost in that list. We've seen way so many versions of the same thing... there's sites that have all the up & coming mmo's listed/detailed/reviewed... and all i've seen are the same dated ideas rehashed endlessly. Those few things that dared to be different are the ones that are still remembered, they had flavor, and their world was based around these differences. And even with so many games based on D&D, or Tolkein... there were settings out there that added flavor still.... Dragonlance did a bit, Dark Sun, so much more so... and Ravenloft, had a setting that just coulnd't be beat, even with the same old groundwork to stand on. I'm still holding out for variety, and things we've not seen before.... and i so love your approach Fuji. Well Done Indeed. Cant wait to see yours Khana

I've not used this recently ... but on alt char's i've used invis and it seems the entire line of invis types are bugged. They'll show you invis even after it drops, or you'll randomly pop visible. So it's not just monks on this one, bard and bloodmage versions as well. Also, an alarming amount of players/npc's dropping into the ground... especially on any sort of incline. Targettings been a mess because of it, and line of sight issues are running amok. I've had alot of issues melee'ing due to this, so am temporarily playing alts til it's fixed and i don't get myself killed trying to fight targets i can't see/target.

Since there isn't that many times it's applicable as is... what if it also applied numerous weaknesses?
Glad someone found this post, i've been looking (not so hard) for us to revisit this ability... it needs to be handy sooner in the game IMO.

Not to sound selfish but... i think 10% more damage is a little low, even if it were permanent like other secrets (which i hope). Monk still needs to stand out vs other dps classes somewhat. As current, we're just dps.. we're not here to make the group feel stronger through buffs... we're here to get the fight done fast. I don't think 15% would be unreasonable

See what your saying Khana... i think i solo too much to look at the group aspects certain buffs would have. The Secret of Scarring sounds nice , think we need more feedback/ suggestions on this still. Rhoshan casts /invite lurker contribution III

Looks great Fujitsu, and Khana i agree completely with the swap of names for the other 2, was going to suggest the same as Will always strikes me as being more mental, less physical. Love to hear what Quinn thinks As far as transcendance going defensive... i'm torn there. In some ways i loved some of the ideas from the SoT post.. on the other hand.. i can't help but think we're an offensive based class... and the strongest defense can be an onslought of offense. We just got to get the Dragon there... and this would help. But overall i do like the way it's layed out in Xenophon's setup. I considered suggesting it have an affect similiar to the one blood mage ability.. where 10% of the party's damage is returned as a heal to the Transcendant Monk. I don't think that's too imbalancing, blood mages get that ability sometime before lvl 30 i believe. All in all, a very exciting concept, let's see what others think
