having enemy factions while doing your monk mastery quests at level 15 was a challenge i think i died about 6 times  I kept spawning in the middle of jalens crossing surronded by enemy npcs at the graveyard, ended up realising i had to jump down into the water anyway and I didnt need to go into the town hehe

I played up to lvl 15 with my monk so i got to use FD quite abit, its very effective against any mobs near your level  , animation is fast and looks cool and you can jump just before you use FD  it has a 8second refresh and only thing it takes is 10 endurance. dosent work at all on any of the lvl 40 enemy faction guards I had to run through for my monk quests though

Thanks Kaji, awesome info  , best ability list i've seen anywhere for any class  i took screenshots of all the abilities I had just before beta closed too, I took the screen shots from my abilities tab in adventuring, so it shows me weaknesses and refresh times too if you want me to list them. one thing i found was lvl 12 - Thousand Fists I Type: should be Finisher with a 1 min cooldown (crits up to nearly 800 with my lvl 15  )

Hio, I just picked up Outfitting as my crafting skill to start with, my harvesting skills are skinning and reaping. I think an outfitter can make some nice leather armour later on and also maybe handwraps along with some other cool things for monks

Im not too sure how they will go to start with, they dont have great crowd control, or haste abilities. and ive heard their dps is a bit low at the moment. but it should be a real fun class to play if they can get the class balance fixed up abit

Hio, alot of monk abilities cause weaknesses in your target, if you see a effect with a + and a V on it that means you add this weakness to the mob, if you see a effect with just a V on it it means you exploit this weakness, causing you ability too do enhanced damage or effects i think. so you pretty much want to cause weaknesses that you can exploit later on, this should work really well in group fights because you can tell teammates to add certain weaknesses on the target for you to exploit and vice versa. this is my understanding so far, i might be wrong i've only been around since beta 5 too, anyone else know more about weaknesses?

Hio Hio,  greetings fellow monkies I got to beta just before beta 5 opened, ive played some EQ and I am a fan of D&D based games, but i mostly stick to FPS games, like RTCW and BF, I played WoW for 1 year after that it got really boring (60 orc rogue/60 Tauren druid). I ragequit after i got 5% away from rank 14 and got ISP issues.... rank decay was a great idea Ive decided to roll a monk as my main character for release  ill be on the Targonor Server(Aus chosen server) or maybe Tharridon.
