I have the pariahs spirited bladed staff of devestation (with 3 end regen and 200 melee dmg) and i will say it is by far the highest dmg 2 hander in game.  I would keep it personally.

Just buy 2 pristine hides and get the fist wraps made, on xeth its about 10g if you supply the ur hide.   Other wise decon the hell out of stuff and get 2 striking crystals.

You forgot this one. http://vg.curse.com/database/items/details/595246/

the only time thundering fist hits less than it should is when a mob hp's is less than the acutal hit for example if a 2 dot mob is in its last bubble i wont hit for the max dmg but less

Thx for the tip, I'll test some more tonight.

I highly recommend Harmonious if you haven't tried it. It is definitely the most complete of the three styles.

*Update 3*

Well the Thudnering Fists on the finisher bar seems to switch back from I to III and is doing all kinds of different damage. My melee damage does 924-1029 so Thundering Fists in Theory should be doing at least 3 times 924 in theory then minus mitigation.

*Update 2*

I added the correct Thundering Fists III to my normal hot bar and went to test to see if it was bugged or not.

Both finishers did a normal Critical
Thousands Fists IV did 4966 with the critical doing 1461
Thundering Fists III did 1641 with the critical doing 363

Some thing is definitely wrong.

*UPDATE*

It seems that I only have Thundering Fists I on my finisher bar instead of the correct Thundering Fists III. Gonna do some more tests.
7  Monk Discussion / Monk General / Thundering Fists Bugged! on: September 07, 2007, 03:24:36 PM
Thundering Fists III seems to be bugged. When I crit both Thousand fFsts IV and Thundering Fists III Thousands will crit for about 5800 while Thundering will only do 1800. These are both normal crits but I thought may be it was just crits but even on normal hits Thousands does alot more damage then thundering. My guess is that Thundering isn't do 3 melee hits and maybe just one instead. Any one else notice this?

He said Dragon. Nice to have some fresh blood on these forums, as you can see it is pretty dead most of the time.

2h say they do double WEAPON damage on a crit. so i'm guessing a 152 base damge weapon would do an extra 304 on crit.

I disagree with the dishing out damage between dragon and harmonious at 50. At 50 for harmonious you get a 3rdflying kick.

Impressive, congrats. Maybe they will be more then a warp spot some day though lol.

But most of our attacks don't do the 200% weapon damage but instead melee damage +so and so. So what do you think would be better for? The 2 handwraps of striking or some thing like the bladestaff i posted?
14  Monk Discussion / Monk Gear & Equipment / Re: Gear at 50. on: September 05, 2007, 02:47:06 PM
I had a pair made for handwraps.

1 "of striking" means a finishing crystal was used.  The crystal itself adds to the weapon dmg AND adds the proc.  which is why the striking fist wraps are 66 and the non striking are 54ish.
2 The + melee dmg from devestation crystals is small, its about 50ish.   So if you take the BASE weapon dmg, add devestation, you gain about 12 dmg over  striking.  HOWEVER they give less weapon dmg and melee dmg because + melee dmg isnt calculated into the inital proc, its ADD after all the other dmg.

Were you responding to me? Honestly you confused the hell out of me if you were. I believe the weapon would give +200 melee damage which would equate to +7% melee damage then theres also the +86 damage on it.
15  Monk Discussion / Monk Gear & Equipment / Re: Hand to Hand - offhand slower vs. faster one on: September 05, 2007, 09:59:52 AM
I'm using aluul's claw and another handwrap whos name slips my mind but it is below 2.0.

Like I said in my other post I usually use both aum kor and steal the wind(?) to get my attack speed as low as possible. Does it flash across your screen? I spam my specials and don't really hesitate for auto attacks but I don't see the auto attacks in the combat log between my specials.
