Monk Discussion / Monk General / What weapon to use...if any

Hello,
I tend to use knuckles or wraps, but there is no real rhyme or reason to this. Do we know what weapon types are best for monks if you are playing as an offensive character trying to do as much DPS as possible?
I have found that I do much more damage with knuckles than I did with a wind blade or a crescent staff. Is this the case with other people?

The Head of the Beast quest in Kojan is great for a lower level monk weapon. I got the Lotus Knuckles from the quest which kick ass. +9 strength + 5% crit. I need to look again at the damage and the speed, but they are the best thing I have found yet for my lvl 14 monk.
