2  Disciple Discussion / Disciple General / Re: today's patch (22nd Feb) on: February 22, 2007, 08:23:11 AM
Frankly, I am sorry for ever starting a monk.   Cry  I started him during the preorder and he was great and was having a blast. Now I am a burden to a group except as a puller my damage is inconsistant and if I get aggro I am a mana sponge for the healers, better to fd than try and tank.

I would reroll but then I would be unalble to play with my wife, we are lvl 20 now and would not be able to catch her level as my time is limited in game due to rl work hours.

I pray each patch that I won't have to be given a sympathy spot in a group or because they want my wife's char so they will take me.
3  Monk Discussion / Monk General / newb question on: February 22, 2007, 08:08:41 AM
It does not seem that I have all the skills for my stance, that being dragon, do I need to go back to the Dragon stance trainer in kojan to recieve these skills or should I get them from any monk trainer?  After reading the skill listing on this site I found I do not have all the dragonstance abilities.

New to Vanguard, and never played EQ.  Frankly if it wasn't for forums I would have no idea about how to use Feign Death to pull don't think you should need to know how to play a different game by a different company to learn a newly released game.
