I am guessing that Sigil is trying to slow down the speed of combat b/c mobs die faster than they intended. The patch seems to have lowered physical dps significantly and we have suffered what is likely the most do to the decrease. Personally I am very upset b/c I really liked the fast past, action filled combat. I personally would like to see them lower exp back to how it was at launch and keep mob death speed at its current rate...
I am very frightened by this patch b/c it reminds me of the sort that continuously occurred in EQ2 and essentially bled the fun out of the game. Players hate constant restraints which are part of some ill conceived notion of a balancing act by designers. Players want to see new content added to create the balances rather than old numbers shrinking.
