First thing is. Today's new patch made dexterity and strength so much better. Like you i have pretty much given up on my monk main until they are buffed up a bit. The thing i noticed is, much of the gear has alot energy bonuses on it. This would make me avoid putting points in unless i found myself running out of energy easily in fights. personally i think to be effective in pvp as well we will need much more dmg from str and the crits to land the finishers. Stack them like you did your monk with maybe a little less cons and more vitality that should be a safe bet

renton keep and the souther wildmoon retreat both have monk trainers. i also thought that the dog class or whatever they are, are capable of being monks

i can easily out dps a ranger the only thing i have a problem with is our pvp dps. taking out a healer is really really hard for us even if our finishers proc a lot. we need to be able to do enough burst dps so that they can't just heal through it over and over again. I would like to see us not have to drain their energy completely before we can kill them.

that hte problem currently i am level 11 and only know of one accessible trainers and he is in the wildmoon area i think. however everything around there is level 25 and aggro to me which makes it very hard for me. i am wondering if perhaps there is a lower level area that has a trainer in eastern thestra

i am level 12 and i can solo a mob that is 14 with very little problems. Again maybe your just not using things right. I personally never use iron hands or the set your weapon on fire thing just ashen hand kick and boundless fist and whenever my finisher procs

I easily out dps my shaman friend and my dreadknight with my monk. I am level 12 i use a sylvan bladestaff. trying to find something with the parry though. I crit and hit my finishers and no one is able to pull hate off me unless they have many skills that add hate. Not to be an ass or anything but if you guys are having this many problems maybe your doing something wrong. I do however agree that we need more damage as an offensive simply for survivability. Also it would help when killing healers in pvp
