The bug fix isn't class balancing, think people may be getting that confused. After the bug fix, class balancing will take place weeks or even months down the road. Rogue and Monk DPS is going to remain too high until that takes place. Don't need to hit the panic button quite yet. =P

Rogues and Monks will be the highest melee damage, followed closely by Rangers.

Keep in mind the highest DPS class will change constantly based on the encounter. No one class is going to be hands down highest DPS every fight.

An update regarding the post...
We are still waiting for the final approval before it goes up. I was hoping it would be in by Friday night, but I'm going to try and make sure it goes up Monday. I think most of you will be fairly relieved after reading it.

An official post regarding the issue will be going up hopefully at some point today or tomorrow. It explains in detail the causes, the changes, the process and the intended results.

I'd recommend striking in primary hand and devastation in off hand.

I'll be submitting a detailed post regarding this topic very soon. It's finished just awaiting approval to post it.

You can find me on either vanguardmonks, vgplayers, or monkly business. I check all of the forums daily and can respond to personal messages if you like. If you check way back when, I was originally one of the frequent posters on this site. I have always followed up on the posts at least once a week, I just haven't posted in a while. I remade my account because I lost the old info, as it is not needed to read the forums, only to post.

Greetings all,

I am Fusoya of the Seradon Server. As many of you may know, I have been granted the honor of the title Raid Class Lead for the Monk community. I look forward to working closely with all of you to resolve issues regarding the class and when the time comes to help shape it into what the community would like to see.

I would like to say that I am not a replacement for QTM as class lead. He has done an amazing job thus far for the monk community and I look forward to working along side of him when he returns. My primary focus will be on the role of the monk in the raid environment. However, I will also be addressing other Monk issues and hope to reestablish the communication between the community and the developers. Although you haven't received much feedback, I assure you issues mentioned here have not gone unheard.

Over the next few days I will be compiling some information that I hope will answer many of the questions and concerns I have seen recently. Although I have not made any posts recently, I do actively read the forums.

Once again, I look forward to working with all of you.

- Fusoya
