Hey thanks for the responses.  I wouldnt have anybody to be playing with as they have all moved on and are not comming back.  I play EQ2 so I could up to the bigger subscription and play them all.  Maby I will wait a little longer.

Hi all.  Some of you may remember me.  Some of you probably couldnt stand me.  LOL

Anyhow,  I just dropped by to say hello..its been about 6 months I think.  I was wondering how monks were doing now and more specifically how VG in general is handling.  This game has always had promise but with the constant crashing and the lack of attention my monk recieved, I just couldnt tough it out anymore.  Im glad some of you brave souls were able to.

So could anyone give me a brief synapsos on how things are now?  Will this game run on Vista. Dunno if I will ever come back but its a possibility.  I have a new computer now so it may even run better who knows.

You need to get some more strength gear Faelor. I hit a Legendary Windsong last week (pre windsong chat bug and ferocity buff), for around 74k.

Reguardless of that fact.. I dont care how long the fight took.  You are NINE LEVELS HIGHER then the ranger.  His damage should not even be close.

Actually they lose healing in that stance.  I found that out after.  Its like a minus 75% healing or 90% or something like that.  Cant remember off hand.  However it doesnt matter.  Why you ask?  Well because they can stick a HoT on themselves, switch to dps stance and kill away.  If by chance they need a heal again (which they probably wont) they can just switch stance again, heal up, re-hot.  by then the 10 sec refresh on stance switch is about over and switch back to finish the mob off.

You should be out pulling while they are killing the mob.  Judge the speed at which the group kills mobs.  Judge the speed at which you can pull.  Try to get them together and at whatever % of current mobs health..FD run out and grab another...this leaves little downtime.  Im not saying the camp timers dont need to be adjusted but thats what I used to do in EQ for my groups and thats what I did at release here.  I was able to time things really well so that the group was almost never without a mob and my groups always loved me for it.

 Unfortunately these changes are too little and too late.  I am not in the state that I long to log in and play anymore.  It just doesnt seem very fun.  There really is nothing drawing me to the game anymore and I have cancelled.  Maby one day I will come back but only time will tell.

A little snipit the I coupied from a post from SV.  Seems pretty sick to me........

"I just checked the new cleric affinity war..

The new stance adds 30% meele damg 10% acc and 15% block
the finishers till lvl 33 are: 1 400% weapon damg +300 damg and 300% weapon damg + 200 something and even better ones to come like meele haste buff more finishers etc...."

I just cancelled my account btw.  I still plan to hang out but this game is getting beyond sad.  I havent logged in in almost a week and I havent even had the desire to.

Yay even more over powered classes get more love

- Cleric – Maul of Divinity now lasts 2 minutes, up from 20 seconds.
- Cleric – Removed the refresh timer from Hand of Censure
- Cleric - Maul of the Gods now lasts 5 minutes, up from 2.
- Cleric – Removed the refresh time from Rout.
- Cleric – Removed the refresh timer from Maul of the Gods.
- Cleric – Added Hammer of Penance to trainers starting at level 6
- Cleric – Added Strike Down to trainers starting at level 2
- Cleric – Added Litany of Enjoining to trainers at level 34
- Cleric – Added Condemnation to trainers at level 36
- Druid – Removed the 1 second delay before Quelling Wind became effective.
- Psionicist – Corporeal Hammer now has a 4 second cast time and 8 second refresh.
- Psionicist – Fixed a bug that caused Psionicists to deal less damage than intended when exploiting a weakness. Further increased the damage that PSi’s deal when they exploit a weakness
- Psionicist – Lowered cast time of most Psionic Blasts and most Mental Blasts
- Psionicist – All versions of Psionic Blast and Mental Blast now lowers your targets intelligence by a set amount.
- Shaman - Hammer of Krigus will no longer stack with itself.

but I have my doubts that they outdamage a well equipped monk with his stats in the right place on a regular basis.

This line says it all right there.  You shouldnt need to be better equiped then a defensive fighter to out damage him.

Im playing a necro now in hopes they will bring the monk to what I feel is its description. Im hoping that day will come and I can go back to my monk which is my true love.  Id rather play the monk and enjoy leveling it in the state that I feel is intended.  If I had played the monk the whole time, I would have been lvel 50 over a month ago.  I want to enjoy it at all levels not just level 50.  If the monk is currently at the intended state then I am not sure I will ever go back to it.

So yeah, I am still passionate about the class...because its the one I really wanna play.
