I saw that you start this at lvl 28, can this be solo'd?

If your objective is to get the shuiken orb and armor then then it's impossible to solo it all at the normal level range for that region..

at 50 it can be soloed.

at 28 your better of with a full group

Yeah full groups even static groups are hard to find so I would be soloing it, about what lvl to start soloing the faction stuff? and is the armor worth it or is crafted bettter?

For level 30-45 the armor is amazing.  45 ultra rare crafted armor is better

For just faction you can start at 30

For the named for the quest (kill 5 from thel and 5 vt) its any named


For the named youd probably need lvl 45 to solo them, 35-40 if douing.
You COULD kill the named moth (ghost wing) once an hour for 5 hours for the 5 vt kills
For Thel do the named rogue in the entrance area, hes a 2 hour spawn though i beleive

Well i started this all at lev 32 and tried duoing most of it with my shaman... All the tier 1 stuff is really easy to get and of course you can do all the faction you need solo. 

The vurm tomes only drop on the two platforms at the very back of Thel.  (behind dragon boss, and behind golem boss) .  The lev 37/38 four dots are pretty tough for duoing even at level 39/40.  You have to fight two at a time and also some 5 dot dragons. 

The eltha runes only drop in VT (on dreadwing, and the two bosses in the throne room) and Vi'rak from what i understand.   Vi'rak is full of 4-6 dots so its very hard to solo or even duo but the drop rates of eltha are supposed to be better. 

Zalge runes drop off both the golem and dragon boss in Thel.  Also it drops from Lothlar the Archivist and the spawnable bosses in the golem area.   

Of course I grouped a lot in the mid 30s to try and get these items... Not much luck with the rolls.  And in this entire time I've only found one pair of medium leggings.  Now I'm starting to get in the level range where I can obtain better drops and cheap gear from the broker than the set pieces.. I got all the tier 1 and tier 2 stuff, skipped all the tier 3 stuff and just need 1 more eltha to turn my shurikens red. 

Here's a question for those of you that have the red shurikens... They give 50 to fire absorb... now if you put shurikens in both ranged slots does that give you 100 fire absorb?

Not positive now, but if i recall right, you can begin factioning at around 24... or, you can start out in the Vulmane areas, and begin getting faction even sooner.  I honestly felt that unless you have a stable group, and had these done by 30 to 32, you were just holding yourself back in xp though.  There's several areas in Qalia that offer good (not great but good)  gear (Arena for one) by just doing normal quests not calling for all of the faction grinding.  VT can quickly become a time sink that is just holding you back from gaining the levels you need to do bigger/better things.
