Title: Power Bladed Staffs Post by: Fujitsu on October 07, 2007, 11:01:01 AM Blade staff of devastation - 5.41% increase to MELEE DMG (aka mouse over attack) secret of fire does 270dmg
Power blade staff - 5.41% increase to melee dmg AND spell dmg (aka secret of fire does 283 dmg for me) Power blade staff of devastation - 7.73% increase to melee dmg AND 2.32 increase to spells (sof does 279) Just thought id let yall know the difference between "melee dmg rating" and "dmg rating" dmg is universal and affects spells as well Title: Re: Power Bladed Staffs Post by: Deshiro Mifune on October 08, 2007, 12:36:11 AM Nice information - bringts a bit light into it, thanks Fujitsu :)
Title: Re: Power Bladed Staffs Post by: Deniska on October 15, 2007, 06:34:41 AM So in other words to maximize the damage the best one is with power+devastation rather then devastation alone? I wonder how much more dmg do we make with "non-melee" dmg, so is it really worth spending coin on focusing power?

All I can tell you is now that i'm 48 and can actually use the power bladed staff of dev, my DPS is pretty close to matching rangers with a bard in group and cleric. The DPS of this weapon is better then 2 handwraps of striking, i've logged in and confirmed it with parsars. what style are you? Cant imagine that a los of 7,5% crit for dragon or drunken without high end gear "not worth to have it" is. 2hand damage, specialy crit damage is maybe more but 7,5% crit is huge number for non harmo monks.
