Vanguard Monks

Hello everyone,
  Has anyone else experienced this? or am I bugged?  My VanguardPlayers character stats are super messed up.  I am a lvl 35 Monk on Gulgrethor.  The stats page says my
 

Total NPC Kills----------------1624
Total Deaths-----------------------67    
Kill vs Death Ratio---------------24    
Quests Completed-------------511    
Highest Melee Damage----------0    
Highest Ability Damage-------554    
Highest Ranged Damage-----822

Now I know that I have hit a LOT harder than these stats are showing.  But I could just be confused as to what the definition of "Highest Melee Damage" and "Highest Ability Damage" actually are.  If this is the case could someone please enlighten me as to what these stats actually mean?  I mean I'm pretty sure that no matter what the definition of HMD is...I've hit higher than 0.  Little help would be nice.
