Vanguard Monks

- Monk – Increased the effectiveness of Dragon Stance slightly and added a visual indicator of the regeneration values.
- Monk – Storm Dragon Stance has been altered.  It now increases damage by a percentage, increases crit chance and adds a chance to proc a large lightning based damage spell.
- Monk – Drunken Mastery Stance has been altered.  It now increases the hate generated by all attacks, grants a 10% decrease to refresh timers for abilities that are executed while in the stance and it still increases dodge chance by 5%.
- Monk – Harmonious Body Stance now adds Jin every 10 seconds, down from 20.


Woot, i'm anxious to see what kind of damage the new proc on dragon stance is going to be like :)

Was anyone able to test these out yet on the Test server to see how much of an upgrade they are and if they are working? Also does Storm stack with Secrets now? Anyfeedback from anyone who has tested would be appreciated.

Secrets stack, and the upgrade to the dragon / storm stances are working and imo significant imporvemnents.

I am not sure why the drunk changes were pushed live though. I am kinda irked about it as I had a problem or two with the drunken mastery stance change and it was on test for less than 24 hrs......

been playing around with the dragon changes all morning, thunder proc is big   :)

at 33, fighting grey mobs on my way to town the proc was doing about 450ish when it triggered, so it's about like having a seperate crit chance  :D

Secrets stack as in I can throw on Secret of Flames AND Secret of Ice and have them both be proccing away?  Or just fire/ice will do damage along with the random lightning bolt? 

And on the topic, I wish all these procs and buffs that affect our damage were off cooldowns that waste a good 3 seconds of their already really short times =/

Let me clarify. Secrets / Storm Dragon Proc stack as before they didn't. As far as secrets of ice / fire stacking: you can only have one secret activated at any one time.

the updates sounds great!  (except for the drunken mastery stance)  So whats up with the storm dragon stance now?  What are percentages?  Everyone liking it so far?

At 50 it should be 5% crit Chance +26% Damamge bounus with a 15% chance for the lighting bolt proc that is a nice little nuke on it is own (I was able to get it to hit for 700's  on some 4 dot greys so your milage may vary) the down side is a -16% to mitigation.

I was quite happy with it as it was a marked improvement.

Dude, its better than it was, and its not like its your defensive stance.  They are at least working on some of the stances now, i imagine your defensive stance fix isn't far off.   :laugh:

Very happy with storm and dragon stance after having played around with them, but I still see no point to stone stance. I barely notice a mitigation boost when I throw it on, honestly feels like a waste to me.
