Vanguard Monks

Does it use Martial Staff skill or Bladed Staff skill?  Before I thought for sure it was martial staff, but I looked at Curse gaming database and now it says bladed staff... a completely different skill than what I've been trying to train up.

It was a mistake to start raising 2hd at level 39 =P 

They switched it to bladed staff because that was the inferred type in the name of the item. It still has a martial staff icon, which will apparently be fixed in next patch.

So I gotta start raising Bladed Staff AND 2hd Piercing  =/  Crap!  I'm glad I wasted a good 6 hours raising 2hd blunt and martial staff today =/

The good side with all the weapon adjusting is that you'll get all the skills up. ;)

I finally got my glowy stick!  =)  We actually almost completed the whole quest in 1 night - we did all 4 blessings and had gathered up about 105 coins in just 1 (long) night in there.  Farmed the rest of the coins last night to summon the last boss we needed, and got the staff.  =D

Now I have to go back and raise my skill =(  I still have like 60 in Bladed Staff and 40 in Two Handed Blunt... lots of work but it'll be worth it.  Not sure the best way to go about raising it....

The bad part about the whole quest was another guy in my guild that was in the group the whole time farming with us and doing the quests got his Axe and then immediately crashed after he got it.  When he logged back in, he didn't have his axe and didn't have the quest to turn it in again, he had gotten rolled back like 15 seconds.  We're trying to petition to get it back for him, so hopefully it works, but I dunno =(  That's just awful for him.  Anybody know if we can do anything?

ive also crashed just after turn in on quests and then the game have removed both the item and the quest when i got back in, but you can retake the last quest again in chains, but annoying to have to do something again.
