Title: Dual Wield Penalty Post by: Lorr Evander on March 12, 2007, 07:44:07 AM I noticed today when I switched to hand to hand, that the avoidance penalty listed as 0% dodge/parry. I decided to check my warrior and it listed it as an 8.1% ish loss in each avoidance skill. Neither one of the characters had their defensive rating or avoidance totals change.
It seems like the entire tool-tip for both test classes are broken in one way or another. Anyone have any hard data on this? Which way is it bugged? Are monks suppose to be able to dual wield with out the avoidance loss? ~Lorr Evander Monk Woefeather Title: Re: Dual Wield Penalty Post by: neospud on March 19, 2007, 06:22:30 AM I think that we're supposed to have the penalty. I found myself using a 2h weapon to avoid the penalty at times before i realized that i was experiencing the same thing you are. I can't confirm one way or another.
Title: Re: Dual Wield Penalty Post by: Zann on March 19, 2007, 08:19:08 AM Not really sure what is "intended" but from what I've seen you should only have the penalty while actually dual wielding a weapon in the offhand. Just a fist in the offhand will not incur the penalty. That's just what I have noticed on my own though, from what you guys are saying maybe there's some kind of UI/tooltip bug.
